I have a brand new marine battery with 550CA and 440CCA. Can I put this(it will fit) into an 01 odyssey van? The current battery in the van has 70CCA and 878CA. What kind of issues would I run into 1. having a marine battery in my car 2.Changing the CA/CCA by this much? Reason: I have a brand new marine battery I have no use for, and I believe my odyssey's battery is going bad.

I do not believe these can be made legal to run on the street. The chain appears to be a bicycle chain, you can probably got one at a bike shop.

Bought this from Formulamatt on the board I believe last year. It has been sitting here ever since, doesnt run(havent tried to get it running either), needs work I assume. Looks like its missing a chain. Maybe good for parts. Plastics could use some work. All I can tell you is the motor appears to not be locked up other than that I havent touched it since I bought it. Wiring in a 220 pump. The old one had black, red, white and green wires. The new one has 2 black, white and green. I am good on the white and green but is it possible to hook up the 2 black wires backwards or does it matter? Any help is appreciated.

If you replace it and that fixes it let us know. I am curious. Can you tell if the starter is trying to engage when you turn the key and it just doesnt have the power to spin the flywheel or does it not even try to come out to meet it?

Is there a courtesy switch to disable the aftermarket alarm when the key is in the ignition?

We have owned a 2001 Honda odyssey for the past few years and have yet to do any maintenance to it. We bought it knowing the transmission needs rebuilt but the damn thing just wont die and we dont trust it driving out of state. I plan on having the tranny rebuilt soon and want to know what else I should be thinking about having done since the tranny is going to be around $2k and I dont want the motor blow up soon after(just my luck). I know I need a new motor mount which the tranny guys will probably install for me and I believe the cat is plugged. Is there anything I should check before I dump this kind of money into it? I am at well over 200k on the motor which has had regular oil changes since we've owned it. I know alot of guys wouldnt dump that kind of loot into a car with that many miles but we cant afford a newer model and the odyssey is the van we like(need a van for just a few more years). Between what I payed for it and the cost of the tranny rebuild it will still be able to be listed at what similar condition vans are going for if we decide to sell. Thanks

I use one every once in awhile. I will have to look what it is. It has saved me a few times but unfortunately someone stole the holder and I just have to sit it on the dash until it moves around so much I have to put it back in the glovebox.
