This is what I am thinking/hoping, I dont even know where to start. Do you have to remove it/ is it bolted in or welded typically? Is there more than one? I havent crawled underneath it yet as the floor is cold

Cleaned throttle body(sprayed it with cleaner toothbrushed it and wiped down still on car), replaced plugs. starts out driving fine and 5 mins into it its worse. Plugs looked worn but nothing other than a little oil on one of the threads.

Still having the issue. I am going to replace the plugs and see if I have any luck. The plastic box thing that sits on top of the motor and is in between the air filter box and the throttle body seems to have moisture in it. Not sure how or if its relevant. the filter is dry and the clamps were all tight. Any other ideas?

I have it all taken apart and its sitting on stands as low as I can go, I may not even be able to go this low once the rest of the suspension is bolted up, and it still looks to high. The pic shows it at this height. Still look to high? I will be confirming the height of the motor mounts tomorrow but if I were to use those rigid mounts directly on the frame, my tranny would be 2" off the ground at this height. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF6167.jpg

I already have an oddball axle that is kind of unique. Its a drop axle but it doesnt get my body down low. I either need to channel the body over the frame like 106mm did his(I am low now and with channelling it would get me to around is height), or "z" the front of the frame and lower the frame section just the body sits on. Although he didnt go lower than the frame, I would have to redo the floor in mine and if I wanted the body even lower, I dont know how I would feel about fiberglass hanging down with nothing to really support it. I figure I would have to raise the floor in mine, reglass in the wood(I am hoping its glassed in now, I really havent looked or made it that far) and then I dont know how I would support the fiberglass wall below the frame or just leave it hang(although stiff) to get hit on stuff and more than likely break. I could alway sbuild something off the frame to hang down with it.

Any idea of pricing? I actually have a guy that isnt local but does basic rod frames for $185 which I felt was really fair. Plus when I talk to him tomorrow I will be seeing what he would charge to "z" the front of the frame so my body sits lower. I will call these guys tomorrow but after spending the last year searching for parts I dont think anyone is going to beat this other guys prices. Hes really way cheaper than anyone I can find and he builds these cars professionally so I hope that means he knows what he's doing.

Really makes me wish I had a metal body to work with. Seems like it would makes things so much easier.

Same issue my son faces now. He keeps wanting to do these leagues that theres no competition in and enjoys it so much he's to scared to step up to better players where he wont do so well.

Kid still has a long way to go. I dont know how many of you have been to either a 8th grade or even afreshman game, the kids are still a work in progress. Now he's tall and can play but chances are he's playing against others that arent at his skill level and hes fortunately able to dominate them right now. Chances are he wont have that luxery for long.

You can sue anyone for anything in Ohio. If you want to go that route just go file a small claims suit. They will be served and it either gets mediated or you see a judge. However before doing this I will send a certified letter stating that you would like them to stop and you are willing persue legal action if it continues. You get confirmation that they were notified by sending a certified letter which they cannot deny. Chances are they might not even have anyone show up in court and you win by default, but something tells me they have enough council that someone will be there. Your best bet is to document document document times, days and everything where you have been both harrassed and whatever attempts you have made to stop them. You dont need to pay a lawyer to send out the very same letter you can.
