My buddy just told me last year he went in and bought a tv before the BF sales. He went in the day after BF and told them he had no idea that the tv was going on sale and demanded they match the price. He said they did it without question. Now he may be BS'ing me but it might be worth a shot.

120Hz vs 240Hz isn't much more than a marketing gimmick. To have higher refresh rate simply means more frames in a second. That honestly doesn't mean squat if the TV's response time, for LCD's specifically, are not up to par.

When manufacturers of electronic components get the parts back from the factory, they test them to see how well they work. If they test out to a very strict set of specs (tolerances), they go in the premium pile. If they only test out to a looser set of specs, they go in the medium pile. And, if they fail altogether, they go in the trash bin. The TV manufacturers then order the parts to within a specific set of tolerances. And, the higher quality the parts, the more expensive they (and the TV) will be. Since vizios are often found at walmart I would say they are most likely made with parts that arent as good and if I was looking for quality as my major decision factor, then I would go with the samsung. What is the most important factor when you make your purchases? For me its almost always price.

People should really not allow store to prove how stupid they are year after year. They really only make it harder for those of us who have commonsense.

Are you asking which is a better namebrand samsung vs. vizio? If so I would say you would probably be better off checking them out in store and with the same media. I have 2 vizios and a samsung and both appear the same depending on what I am watching and how I have it hooked up. I do prefer the style of the vizios though.

Yup, just tell them your just starting out, planning on staying as a sole proprietor if they ask. The tricky part is convincing them to accept your social as a fed id number. But most places probably wont care. This is always one of those things I have always felt was funny and we have discussed this on here before. As long as your offering a service and the service doesnt require a special license or permit, you can be in business tomorrow. Theres nothing stopping you other than the preconceived notions of what it takes to actually own a business. With a commercial account your only stating that I want a better deal from you because I plan on spending alot of money here, more than the average consumer and I feel I should get better pricing because of it. Thats all your saying. Your not doing anything illegal. I have literally been hired to do roofs froma customer I painted for. I had never done roofs but had employees who had. I called my insurance company, told them the new name, had a policy written up that day as proof for the owner and i was doing roofs for several years after that until they came down hard on requiring a license. But i was done with them anyways. I just told my tax guy at the end of the year that I made x amount of dollars under this business name and that was it. Your almost always fine with anything in this world as long as your not trying to keep the govt from their part of your income. Which in this case your not.

Dont do anything, I assume your looking to get a commercial account for material. If so, just go fill out the app. They will ask for your fed id number so just give them your social. You can literally start a bazillion business' tonight if you wanted to. Now if you actually make a profit from services rendered then you obviously need to file taxes. Do not try to go tax exempt. I have commercial accounts at alot of places although I was a contractor for years. There is nothing special or laws regarding anything.

I have one much larger now and my garage is 1/2 the size of yours. Jason I wont be needing mine anytime soon and your always welcome to come get it whenever.

Seen an ad(tv) earlier for a 32" for $199 but didnt see from where. Look around you'll probably find it.

Cant seem to be impressed by anything this year. I did find it funny that rent to own was attempting to do a early morning(6am) black friday thing on appliance rentals but I think their prices remained the same.

My wife always says I spoiled the kids. Christmas was the one time of the year my parents actually would show us they had money. I always try to mimick the wow factor I had on christmas morning and with the things that are out there today being so small and so expensive it gets harder each year.

I dont get it.

I actually just told my oldest its time to find work(hes 15). He says no way I laughed. My oldest is into shoes. Dont ask me why but he has amassed a collection of 20+ mint condition shoes that apparantly cannot be worn for more than a day at a time. He has asked for a bunch more but I dont see it happening. At this point they want very expensive items that I just cant see me getting them. At the limit we set and what they want it equals to around 2 presents a piece and I just cant do it. 6 presents under a tree just would seem like a crappy christmas.
