  1. Found this write-up on line on how to make your own muffler which it desperately needs. Think it will work? http://scooter.wikia.com/wiki/Building_a_can_in_can_muffler
  2. Well, I have started my first resto project with my son who just bought his first road worthy vehicle. Its a majestic panther moped which sat in a garge for years. So far we have made sure it ran and drove which surprisingly it did with simply new fuel. It will be very budget minded so if any has any parts let me know. Heres a pic. So far it is in varying stages of dismantle. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF2173.jpg
  3. Cr price drop. Pictures make it look dirty but its just the material in the pic.
  4. Did you check fuses if everything just stopped?
  5. We are not modding this and this is a budget build. That exhaust is for a tomos and is twice as much as we payed for the moped. I am trying not to spend as much as I could have just bought a good running one.
  6. I could probably ride now but I take a big risk of hitting the ebrakes to hard or slamming my foot down. That could refracture the foot and since there was so many breaks and bones crushed, its a big risk.
  7. Someone actually glued a dress on there and thats what that material is. Were going back to black vinyl. Oh I will be riding the hell out of this thing.
  8. I had the same year and it used to have valve chatter like something else.
  9. It sat in a guys garage for years. We dug it out and drug it here from mt vernon. Got here and it fired right up. The bad thing is someone took the baffles out of the exhaust so it is crazy loud. I need a cheap muffler but they are hard to find. definately needs work.
  10. Dont hate. Not mine but my sons. Its currently being taken apart for a mild rest project. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF2173.jpg

  13. Looking to sell our full size conversion van. We have owned this for quite some time. Its a 1995 e150 conversion van. Tradewinds conversion. quad seating with rear sofa which layes down into a bed. I believe it has around 160,000 miles give or take. Has fairly new front tires. Just had derek replace some of the brake lines. It has ac but hasnt been charged in a few years. The rear ac went out years ago so it was bypassed but the front ac and heat does just fine. The windshield is cracked. It has a tv and vcr but they havent been used in years so I dont know what if they work still. Cr price is $1500 firm. Its cleaner than it looks in the pics and I will wipe it all down tomorrow. We just dont drive it anymore of for a few years really just every now and then. Has tow hitch. 5.0 motor. http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF2175.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF2176.jpg http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d87/wnaplay/DSCF2178.jpg
  14. Have any other parts? I need a good used one where someone has parted 1/2 of it out and will let the rest go for cheap.
  15. Just seeing if anyone has any old moped parts to help get my sons moped done. Will consider anything and everything, makes dont matter. Thanks
  16. You are not allowed to take photos of yourself and post them. I feel dirty, nice tats by the way.
  17. I think the avgerage size for a full bed is 54"x75".
  18. On a side note is your v6 fun to drive? I have a guy interested in trading one for my bike but I am not sure if i want to do it. Sorry for the thread hijack.
  19. If noone takes it here, its going to craigslist and I know someone will take it there.
  20. Theres an old timer a few streets over that works on these in his garage. He fixed my dads very old mower for $50 last month. I was going to take it over to him but decided I really dont need a riding mower, or I dont want to deal with getting it in and out of the shed I should say. I figure the motor alone is worth $100.
