You have to push them and then push them the rest of the way. Its tricky until you realize how far they go til they actually bite. If they leak push til they bottom out or take off and try again.

Just use compression fittings or use compression to cpvc.

Thats just peel and stick for roofs. They used to sell a big roll for $10 but its hard to find nowadays in that size at the hardware stores. With enough heat it will ooze like tar on a hot roof.

I am not technilogically savvy. Is it possibly,witbout spending an arm and a leg, to somehow have a remote control I can turn off any outlet in my home from anywhere in my home? Say I am in bed and I believe the kids left a light on or tv on in the finished basement, I dont want to go down 2 sets of stairs to find out and most times its just me being overly cautious. I have on many occasions questioned my age and repeatedly walked to the basement to see if I left the laundry room light. Ideally it would be awesome to use my phone or ipad to access this and also be able to see which outlets are using the most power. I assume this is easier to accomplish in a new build but I dont want to rewire my house to make this happen.

Approx.12' of welding I guess without measuring and if its fully welded. I can measure exact if need be but i would say less than 4' on the long side and 2' on the short.

I have an aluminum diamond plate truck box I am planning on cutting in half. I will need the bottom piece welded back on, not fully if its difficult but certainly enough so its welded strong enough not to come apart. I will have it all cut and ready to be welded. Who can do it and give me a price.
