  2. As far as putting the C-4 in, I gave the car to the girl, and she wants a manual. I think she'd also like a hydraulic cluth better in the long run, but I'll find out. Doing the swap in a V6/V8 is a bit different than in a Turbo 4. In looking at some web pages that talk about the swap and from what I've seen the A4LD is a little longer than the T-5, so the driveshaft from a T-5 is needed.
  3. I need to get ahold of a Ford C4 transmission from, I believe, a 2.3L Pinto. It may be in more than just that. It should bolt right up to the 2.3L Turbo Ford, or so I understand. I also need the Driveshaft from a T5 Turbo Coupe and the Mustang Rear Crossmember (tranny mount). A4LD's are lame. So it's time for something a lot better. Let me know what you've got, or can get.   8. Magnum.. Nice, could use some better looks, but it fits in with the blocky-ness of the rest of, excluding SRT-4, the SRT line. Slingshot.. 3 cyl turbo.. 0 - 60 of something like 10.1 seconds.. Just a little slow..

  10. I'd have to assume with the stock pump he's run SS line from the pump all the way up to the fuel rail with a high flow filter, and that it's been rewired.
  11. You could try it I suppose.. No one is stopping you.. But I'd get a logger and AFC first, and watch that EGT for that one. 16 - 17 psi you could probably get away without tuning it and run fairly good. I don't know of anyone running 20 psi on any turbo without tuning and something to watch everything with. But, I could be wrong.
  12. 255 is plenty. Stock is like (??) 160 (??) ,it's mid-100's, I know that. 255 is around 100 lph more than stock. As far as boost pressure, I'd go for 16 or 17 psi I think.

  14. It was the 1g swirley right? I have 3 different types, 1 of the swirley, 1 of the fins, and 2 of another type, but they are all white. (Previous owners were smoking some crack when they got tires / wheels)
  15. I don't think I have another lug wrench laying around. I've got an extra stock jack, but that's all I think. I have a pile of parts, so I'm not 100%. But I can check if you need one.
  16. Yes. Newer 3g wheels (17") look good on the 1g's, to me. I'd assume you are talking about a set of '99 GSX rims.

  20. Singular, head. It's a 4 cyl. I believe that has the same engine as the Omni GLH-S of the same year, fun cars..
  21. I'd have to agree with that. As long as you have another car to drive (which, looking at your vehicle info, we can assume that you do), and take your time to work on it, it wouldn't be very hard at all. Anything you do with that car would be money / experience ahead for when / if the Talon ever breaks, and would be a good idea. Just make sure you triple check everything when it comes to doing any kind of engine work, and you should be fine.
