Two wheel studs broke on the front of this Malibu I am working on. I knocked them out no problem. When I went to install new ones it was hard to get something in the wheel well to drive them in. I took the axle nut and took the hub off. You cant hit the stud directly because how the hub is made. I used a punch and got it in a little further. It is not seated all the way though. How the hell do you get these in? Press? Can it be double nutted to pull it in more? Any suggestions? Thanks CJ

I have a 95 Mustang with about 40k on it that has been sitting for a few years. Anyway after getting it running I noticed the turn signals and emergency flashers wernt working. After turning the lever a few times they started working. Although, now the left one is blinking really fast compared to the right one which is normal. Should I check flashers? switch? light bulbs? or what...Thanks CJ

Same things happens to me too. It is random though but normally happens when the seasons change. Was tested (they stick you with hundred of needles) said wasnt allergic but had asthma. But I dont have normal asthma problems like shortness of breath etc. If you get any worse with stuff in your lungs or spitting up get some of the allergy stuff with d in it behind the counter.

Good to hear. The orignal one on Clevleand Avenue is good too. There lunch is about half priced of there dinner stuff. I have been to about 10 differnt Japanese steak houses in the area. Them and Kobe are the top two.

yeah I am trying to figure what to do. I really dont want to dump 500.00 bucks or more in it. It can be worth that much with rust and 200k. I am not keeping the car that long but need it running to get rid of it. Is a junk yard one worth the hassle? -

Well ND2RACE came over today car is only running 20 psi fuel pressure at idle. So since I changed the filter I guess that pretty much means the pump is done. What kind of pump should I get? -

Just wanted anybody looking for repair work, performance parts, or Amsoil oil to give him a try. I have been having ongoing problems with my Malibu that I have posted in the tech area. Anyway he contacted me and offered to scan it for free. I drove to his house and what I thought would be a few minute thing took a hour or two. He helped me diagnose a few things also and did it for free. I am still working on the Malibu but if you need any foreign car work ( he works at Lexus) or high performance foreign car work(Evos etc) give him a shot. Ask him about his bad ass Evo he is working on. I thinking he is shooting for 800 or 900 horse with 50 some pounds of boost. CJ

Well I went over to Rickys (Skold) last night. He has a super nice Mac scanner. Well it is misfiring on almost every cylinder. Not just two ie like one coil is bad etc. He pulled up the history and one cylinder has like over 1000 misfires. Anyway he is used to working on foreign cars(Lexus Evos etc) but did verify cam sensor and few other sensors are working properly. He didnt have a compression tester or fuel pressure gauge. He said he thought it could be a bad fuel pump and/or clogged filter or low compression. I changed the filter today. It is running better but still not right. I ran down to auto zone besides the normal cylinder misfire it is now showing po171. Auto zone print out say can be oxygen sensor, ignition misfire or fuel injector problem. Does this sounds right? I am about go crazy but dont want to throw a lot of money at this car. Any other suggestion or inputs?? Thanks CJ -
Sorry to hear about your mom. It is kinda coincidence because a lady who works with my gf died today unexpectedly from cancer. Also, her friends niece died about two weeks of cancer. Sometimes things happen that make no sense at all. I wish her well with everything.
