Trying to gauge the interest of some shared shop space. We are looking at a space or spaces on the East side, Reynoldsburg area and wanted to gauge the interest of anyone else looking to share some space. Hit me up if your interested and I can get you some more details.

I had no clue. Absolutely. Marion was our home track for many years and I actually organized the first no tree race there around 1997. Bill and Shelby loved it. Unfortunately they didnt keep up the place so we quit going. I have not been up there for many years. Mike is running it now isnt he?

Ours is usually in the 240-280 range during the summer and drops down to about 115 a month when we are not running our A/C.

Regardless on weather you get a RT on your time slip or not, you still have to be good on the tree or arm drop. I have seen this 1,000 plus times. Anyone who has ever bracket raced knows this.

Good post. I have had the opportunity several times to be standing on the starting line next to some of these. Its pretty crazy when your that close. I thought I was dying the first time HA HA HA.

I bought my white Camaro from a private seller in KY. All he did was sign the back of the KY title. I had a friend notarize the KY title once I got home. I took it to the registrar and completed my title transfer/Ohio registration. This is where you pay taxes on whatever you claim that you paid for the car. The lady came outside and made sure the VIN matched what was on the title and we went back inside. Then I walked across the hall and paid for my plates. It was very easy and not a big deal at all. The DMV in Pataskala is awesome.

I had my juvenile record done when I was 18. I did not have a lawyer and I had to go in front of a judge but I do not remember the whole process. I am sure a lot has changed since 1994 though .

I have a wedding to go to on Sat. If its late enough then I may be down in the morning.

I ask my wife about every purchase I make as well. She handles the bills and I dont pay to much attention to that stuff. More than anything it is a respect thing. She consults me on all of her purchases as well.

I agree with part of what Matt says and I disagree with some of it to. Yes people do have kids and get mini vans and need to make some life changes. I started racing and getting in to cars in 1994. I was 19 and my 1st son was born in 95. That didnt stop me from following my dream, passion or whatever. I was away from home a lot but I ALWAYS took care of my kid. I was fortunate enough to get thrown right in the mix with lots of fast cars right off the bat. For a good 10-12 years I spent almost every night in the shop, street racing and at the track. We traveled all across the country racing, IHRA Top Sportsman and IHRA Pro Stock. That was my life for a very long time. I got to a point where I was just tired of being away so much and decided to take some time away. I never was completely out of racing but I took a big step back for a good 8 years or so. In the last 5 or 6 years since I have been back in to it, more and more every year, I see a lot of new faces but most of the old crew is still around. They may not come out as much but they still do. I dont know to many people who are as busy as me. I have 5 kids, a wife, 3 cars a mortgage and much much more and I still find time to follow my passion. Its not about Mature, immature, whos better than who, whos grown up ect ect. Its about the passion for cars and racing. No matter what you do in life it stays with you. That fire does not die. If you can say some of the BS that comes out of Hal's mouth then your nothing more than a poser in my book and you never had the fire burning. You can be mature and successful and still have a good time doing what you love.

So why not bring them back in for the project and pay them straight time instead of quadruple dipping? Helping out those unemployed workers and saving money.

What gets me is what we are paying for. Does anyone know how much those guys make? I know its a dangerous job but I heard that they are getting paid retarded amounts for OT. I heard that if they work over 16 hours that they get paid quadruple time. Those guys are cleaning up on OT and extra pay. Is that really our responsibility to pay for that? I am all about incentives to work extra but 4x your pay really??? I think the only reason they do that is because they plan on passing it off on us the entire time.

Maybe its just envy. You know how when little kids think the opposite sex is gross but in reality they play it to the extreme because they want the opposite sex to actually pay attention to them. Maybe he is just secretly upset that he can't do this anymore, so he tries to mask it by witty yet STUPID AS FUCK comments to everyone under the sun. Maybe him putting everyone down just makes him feel like everyone else is really on that lower level with him. Maybe is just a self esteem issue. Who knows. Its sad.
