  1. Oh so what your saying is that its ok for someone to treat you like shit as long as they let you go? Are you kidding me?
  2. I used to use an expodisc and do cutom white balances. It is very acurate. I shoot RAW also. It gives you much better control of the photo right out of the camera.
  3. Well that was one of the most unpleasant things that I have ever experienced. Needle through the groin and in to my hip joing. Then an hour of the most painful position that they could have had me in. Glad its over and I never wanna experience that again. Watching the needle in my hip on the xray machine was pretty cool though. Results on Tuesday.
  4. When I was in the Police academy we had several OSP instructors. They told us to always ask for permission to search a vehicle no matter what the original violation was for. Just like you said, "to up the anti". It is such a backdoor violation of our rights. I mean yeah, you can always say no but where they get you is that most people have the impression that if they say no, it will make them look guilty, so they just agree to it.
  5. I think this is your answer. http://www.wlwt.com/Troopers-Increase-Patrols-Near-Ohio-s-Largest-Cities/-/9838586/14519278/-/u0gylg/-/index.html
  6. +1 on the focus. I am a Canon guy also and I just used my center weighted focus point and then re framed my shot once I had my focus.
  7. I like how you composed them. Its a good shot overall. Low light sucks period unless your on a tripod and can afford long exposure times.. I used to play hell getting good shots at night at the race tracks. It took me a while to get them right. Keep up the good work.
  8. We used Schmidts. They were awesome.
  9. Oh I am not arguing anything with you. I am just passing on what I was told and what I have been able to find out about it online. I appreciate your guys advice. You guys both do this for a living so informing me of everything is very much appreciated. I am pretty worried about future hip problems as a result of this so I am definitely gonna weigh all the options. Like you guys said, I need to see what the MRI shows first. I am having it done tomorrow at noon and have an appt to get the results on Tuesday.
  10. Actually the funny thing is that I didnt do anything traumatic to it. I was sitting down on the ground to change a tire and about half way down I felt this shooting pain that kinda made me fall the rest of the way down. I figured I just tweaked something and it was no big deal. So for about the last 2 months it has only hurt if I move a certain way or sit Indian style on the ground. In the last 2 weeks it has stared getting worse. So I finally decided to get it checked out. The range of motion in my left leg is now about 1/4 of what my right leg is.The Dr. showed me with a model how my hip may have just been in a wrong position when I went to sit down and it kinda popped out a little and tore the labrum. Everything that I have read online says that the cortisone injections have a very low success rate for torn labrums. The doc did say that they may be able to sew the tear but in most cases they just cut it out. It is getting more painful every day though. It is still bearable but things like getting in and out of the car or sitting at work or stairs makes hit hurt pretty bad. Its starting to kinda pop now when I move certain ways and then its sore for hours.
  11. Its sad to watch really. Lets hope that they are able to get it together.
  12. What about the donught place over by jegs on 11th? That place has awesome donughts. There isnt really any good parking though.
  13. Sounds like the same MO of whats going on in my neighborhood. Entry through the back and then they open the garage. Their buddy backs in the garage and they close the door. This gives them all the time that they want inside. Pieces of SHIT!!!!!!!
  14. HA HA HA Can you imagine if 200 of us tried to show up at Thurmans? lol
  15. I am sure racing is down a bit but I do have to say that everyone I know that is half way fast goes to better tracks. They would rather drive 3 or 4 or more hours to go to a track that they can actually get down vs risk crashing on a track that is 15-30 min away. Well i guess Norwalk is just under 2hrs away but still. I dont think Drag Racing is going anywhere. Look at how much NHRA keeps growing and look at how popular ADRL has become. I think people are just going elsewhere and avoiding the crappy tracks.
  16. I agree that KK has nasty ass doughnuts. I just like the idea of a local business. What about Baskin Robbins on Hamilton Rd in gahanna or Jolly Pirate on E. Main St in Reynoldsburg? Baskin has the lot size by JP does not.
  17. Norwalk is what it is because of the Bader family, not really Summit. Norwalk was like Marion years and years ago and Bill Bader made it what it is today. But I agree, why would Jegs not stand up so that they had an awesome home track. I would guess that the current owners of trails (NHRA) probably have something to do with it all.
  18. Sounds good guys. I will let you know what I find out on Tues.
  19. Trails has been dealt 1 death blow after another for several years. However, they have been their own worst enemy and have brought these death blows on themselves. Spring Nats is gone, ADRL is gone. They dont have much to draw a big crowd anymore. I think this is a result of them just not caring. I have not seen them do anything to improve the track since they put the tower up and that was really the only improvement that I can ever remember.
  20. I am seeing Dr. Wilcox at Cardinal. He said that there are only 3 people in the state that are actually doing this surgery and one of them works at Cardinal. I am assuming that is who he is going to refer me to. He mentioned his name yesterday while we were discussing this but it has slipped my mind. I was kind of wondering about this last night too. Dr. Wilcox made it sound like it was not that big of a deal but my point of view is your hip is a pretty major part of your body and how you function on a daily basis. I would assume that you have to be pretty careful in there. Not to mention what kind of condition am I going to be in, in 20 years. Im 36 now so I have to count on this hip for a long time. I dont want to be suffering at 55.
  21. Has anyone ever had an Arthrography MRI done? I went to my Orthopedic yesterday and he said that I have a torn Hip Labrum and I am going to need surgery to repair it. I have to have one of these MRI's done on Thursday to see how bad it is. From what I read online, they take a 20gauge needle and go all the way through my hip and in to the joint itself, to fill it with dye for the MRI. Im more nervous about that then I am about the damned surgery.
