  1. Hmm might be something fun to mess around with, I'm sure just my yard has all kinds of crap in it. If you still have it friday I might take it off of your hands

Agreed, I can not only see the moons of Saturn but also the shadows of the moons moving across the surface of Saturn on a good night with my Orion 6" reflector. No matter how many times I see it it's still 100 times better than looking at it in a picture.
  3. 99% sure nobody here will be interested in this but I'm just trying to get this out there with out using craigslist and getting a bunch of tire kickers wasting my time so here goes. I've got a 06 Buell Ulysses with 17,600 miles on it for $5750. Bike has new tires, Buell race exhaust and race computer, heated grips, wool seat cover from Alaska leather, Cee Bailey's 2 1/2" windscreen also comes with the factory windscreen, tourtech handgaurd extenders, stiebel air horn, wolfman tankbag and soft panniers, I've got a off brand tail bag that also comes with it, also comes with an extra brand new cooling fan that I bought just in case, and it comes with the Buell service manual. This thing has taken me from Columbus OH up to Oshkosh WI and down to Helen GA without skipping a beat. I hate to see it go but the deal with my wife was if I got a convertible so we could all go cruising the bike had to go, well I got the convertible so now the bike has got to go. Check out telescope.com they have pretty good scopes and a nice buyers guide to help in your selection. Also Perkins observatory in Delaware has basically an open house on some friday nights where the speaker talks about some astronomy, sometimes they let you look through their big scope and the central ohio astronomy club sets up a bunch of their stuff on the lawn and lets you view with their smaller scopes.
  8. Apple pie is awesome, I split my batches up and put it in mason jars with a couple slices of apples.
  9. Yikes, buell's don't need any help being ugly they are naturally not very nice looking bikes. To each his own but damn thats ugly.
  10. So what do you guys recommend for a 2000 f350 with the 7.3, these injectors are to expensive to be messing them up by using the wrong oil.
  11. You could try this place: http://www.NaturalOsageAngusBeef.com We've bought beef from them at the Grove City farmers market before it's always been tasty stuff.
  12. Damn you I just noticed that my cheap a$$ wheels on my cobra are flaking so I need something new. If I dint have to get new tags for all my vehicles this month I might be able to swing this. Interested in trades for things that go bang?
  13. Welcome fellow Londoner, never seen that car running around town. looks nice and fun to drive
  14. "I let go of the wheel because that how we do it in open wheel racing" LOL
  15. On a side note the "Street Racing" in Kent Washington looked like a bad scene out of fast and the furious, the best part about that whole show was the drunk guy in the SUV that ran into the tree. Oh and watching that one cop try to "sneak" up on a bunch of street racers by walking through the middle of the parking lot while being followed by the camera guy and he seemed surprised when they spotted him.lol Even though I wouldnt go into Compton in an armored car those guys werent messing around, that street looked better prepped than National Trails.
  16. It may be safer but it's got a bigger back seat.lol
  17. At the beginning of the show didnt they say that they had wone something like $117,000 in illegal street races to put towards their new shop, wait till the I.R.S. gets a hold of that little tid bit of info.
  18. The headlight and forward fender area remind me allot of the mustang ii and we all know how that turned out
  19. It's funny whenever the president is at the base we there are snipers up on the hangers, I've always wondered what kind of credentials and security clearance a person has to have in order to be the guy pointing a high powered rifle at the pres.
  20. I'm pretty sure if he went that far in he went all the way through. Brutal way to go, cant imagine witnessing that.
  21. Detroit has the same problem. http://www.myfoxdetroit.com/dpp/news/local/detroit-ems-rig-stranded-as-gunfire-rings-in-the-new-year-20120103-ms
  22. Cant forget about them because I didnt even know they existed, thanks for the heads up it would be nice to have somewhere close to go.
  23. Well Iwas going to go check out Lauhorner Gun and Archery in Springfield today but as I was about to leave I noticed that they arent open on Thursdays. Doh So me and my boy made the 45 min drive up to Blackwing to check it out. I am impressed I dont think I will ever have a reason to deal with Vances again. It was kind of hard to do any real gun shopping with my 2 1/2 year old son trying to go in 50 directions at once but I got to handle a Sprigfield Armory XD40 and a Glock G36. Surprisingly the Glock felt pretty good but the grip was a little short although I see that they do make extensions for it so this might be a possibility, I'll have to make another trip without the boy so I can get a better look and possibly some range time to try them out.
  24. Mahle thanks for the offer, funny thing is I'm going to be up in Sunbury Saturday to visit some family but I'm not going to have the time to shoot or even stop at Blackwing to check things out, wish I still lived up in Galena so I was closer to Blackwing and still had a range in my own back yard.
  25. I'd like to spend less than $600. I've heard good things about Glocks and have nothing against them reliability wise but they just dont fit my hand well, everyone that I have held has felt like I'm holding on to a square block. Now it has been a few years since I've been in the market and they may have come out with something newer and more ergonomic so I'll have to look into that.
