  1. They make both the SL55 AMG and the SL65 AMG. The SL55 is 493 horsepower; 516 ft. lbs. of torque from a supercharged V8 engine. The SL65 AMG is a pretty rare car...not an easy find...however...we just sold one. This car is 604 horsepower and 738 ft. lbs. of torque from a twin-turbo V12 engine. The sticker is $200K+ Why...you want to trade your EVO in on a new SL55 or SL65 [ 15. September 2004, 12:56 PM: Message edited by: Hoop-D ]
  2. Good way to look at it...and some truth in there...but you will get a deal. Plus...there are pros and cons to buying both at a dealership and privately....like warranty, service, travel, convenience, payment flexibility, etc.
  3. <font size="]" target="_blank">http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6236&item=2489146635&rd=1[/qb] ___________________________________________ Wow...thanks for enlightening us and for taking the time to look on ebay. BTW...did you find any other Mercedes that you could sell someone for less than me? I doubt it, hotshot. Go find a C32 or something for $37K. Can you also get people into a Mercedes-Benz (the best made cars on the planet) for $299/month? I doubt it. Do you even know anything about these cars...with the exception of the Mustang? Which, BTW...is low on miles. Thanks for taking the time to compare my price to eBay...says a lot about what you know and what type of time you have. I won't rip anyone off...especially from CR. Also...anytime you want to line your stang up against my 4 cylinder...I'd happily agree to it.
  4. Quantum Racing (north of Dublin) specializes in Subaru...they will have the most available options and the best approach for modding your car. Look on any forum dealing with Subaru or Mitsubishi and you'll see how highly recommended they are. 5. No disrespect...I know. smile.gif I didn't read it that way. Well...then it was for the other 25% I guess. It's only a little more than an STi or EVO...and look how many of those are on this board. Plus...there are people who have spent that money alone on modding cars on here. I know the people who would be interested in that car...it was intended for them to see...and they have. Curious...$37K is twice the cost of your house? I need to shop where you shop... smile.gif

    im drunk

sweet! I'm at work...so drink a 6 pack for me!
  7. Anthony...kick his ass! Sam only acts tough when he knows I am there to protect him...otherwise, he might mess his hair up in a scuffle. I'll be out...
  8. The pic doesn't do it any justice. The car is so sweet in person. I ordered the SLK 55 AMG version for a customer today...362 HP/376 ft. lbs. torque in that little car...so quick! Plus...it has 19" wheels and a lowered/stiffer AMG suspension....
  9. Here are some KILLER DEALS on some fast cars we have for sale right now...I want to update and give first crack to CR and friends... 10. True..."Satan"...he is desperately wanting to get his DSM wired and done. PM me for Jimmy's cell. Jason
  11. Jimmy is doing better...good days and bad. However...he seems to be recovering bit by bit as time goes by. Family is pulling together and do things to bring each other up. He really appreciated the donations. Columbus DSM sent some nice flowers and Race-Club guys gave cards and a nice collection.
  12. Killswitch Engage as a one hit wonder? Are you an idiot? They used to be decent, but the lead singer's other band is hard as nutz....Blood Has Been Shed. Hardcore is true and not about air play or $$$, so anything referred to as that on the radio is gay...just like these so called heavy bands...Linkin Park, Korn, and all that crap.
  13. Sitting here at Jimmy's computer with him. He says all this mushy stuff is giving him heartburn Just playing. Says it's awesome and he thanks all of you!!!! Stop by and see him this weekend...the more support, the better. smile.gif
  14. Yeah...the organizers f---ed us out of having the AWD dyno there. Very poor communication on the owner of Speed Style and Sound. Didn't even call us or anything. Said they were interested by sending an e-mail...I responded a couple of days later when I got the e-mail and he replys saying they are using some dynojet dyno. Not a dig on dynojet, just saying was lame communication. However...it should be a fun event...but I will not be there due to work and funeral.
  15. Hello everyone... For those who know Jimmy and would like to show their support, there will be a visitation for family and friends this Friday (8/20) and Saturday (8/21) at: Schoedinger Funeral Services 6699 N High St. Worthington, OH 43085 (614) 848-6699 The times are as follows: Friday - 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday - 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. The above address should be used for sending flowers. Jimmy is happy to see his car enthusiast friends are there for him. Thanks!!!!
  16. HEY EVERYONE... Some updates on Jimmy (or Carlton...his secret hidden first name ): My wife, Heather (a.k.a. "Boxed In") and I picked up Jimmy and his wife (Joleah) from the airport late last night. Other than the obvious mental and physical exhaustion, Jimmy seemed to be doing "OK"...making a wise crack here and there and smiling at goofy shit I would say. I stayed at his house until about 4 a.m. and lended my ear. Jimmy is banged/cut up and in quite a bit of pain...especially his back and the severe road rash...but his spirit seems strong and he was very happy to hear about CR and its support. Jimmy seemed VERY excited at the prospect of some guys going up to Quantum Racing to help finish his 1G DSM. I talked to Bryon (Quantum's Service Manager) and he said that would be awesome...he had already been staying late after hours to work on it for Jimmy since he heard of the accident. I think it would be very cool if we could get 3 to 5 guys to go up to Quantum in the evenings and knock this car out. Most of the big things are done, but a couple remain unfinished. There are also all the little things left from building a car from the ground up. Stuff left to do... - completion of engine wiring harness - completion of AEM (EMS) installation - exhaust fabrication - dyno tuning - street tuning If you would like to help, please call me at 856-3150 (home) or 804-4166 (cell). I will compile a list and call Mark and Bryon at Quantum to see when we can all go up there and get started. Thanks everyone...I know this makes Jimmy feel better!!!!!
  17. nice pictures....was a nice day for the show...I was at work ... graemlins/puke.gif
  18. Thanks Chief #1 Member Call me anytime on my cell listed above or home. Can also call me at the work number I PMed you...299-2144. Thanks again Anthony..and everyone else! I think in addition to the flowers for the funeral home, we should put the money toward something they could truly use...like baby formula, some of their bills, or just a single check for them to use as they feel necessary...at their discretion.
  19. +1 I mean...he also brought me to CR Seriously...Anthony hit the nail on the head. No matter what BS is said on boards...when it comes to it the core group of CR is made of A+ people!!!!
  20. You rock!!! Contact me so I can get your cards/offerings to him and his family. Jason
  21. Guys...your intentions and thoughtfulness are awesome. If you would like to send anything for his family, you may send them to Anthony or directly to me at: Jason Niemiller 8249 Sea Star Drive Blacklick, Ohio 43004 614-856-3150 (home) 614-804-4166 (cell) I will collect everything and Anthony can give it to him at the funeral since it is on behalf of CR. If you do not wish to donate money, then some other suggestions are as follows: - offer to babysit (Stella, 2; Abigail, 5 months) - offer to do yard work - offer to help finish his DSM up at Quantum Racing...Jimmy has spent hours upon hours up there with Mark and Bryon - send flowers to the funeral home (details to follow) - send a savings bond for his children instead of cash...worth 2x amount you purchase when they mature - send a card to Jimmy's house (PM me for address) Since the deceased are in Florida, it will most likely be early next week before any arrangements for a funeral are final. I will post details as soon as I know. Jimmy's grandparents and mother are all to be buried somewhere in town...more to come. I am picking Jimmy and Joleah (wife)up at the airport tonight and will pass along all of the positive energy you have all shared. Thank you!!! Jason
  22. I am sad to say that earlier this morning Jimmy's mother passed away during emergency surgery for her internal injuries.
