I apologize if this is a dumb question. I am new to guns, and plan to meet up with greg for the first time soon. This gun was on my list of guns I am interested in. Is there an advantage to buy a gun used in taxes pricing etc? I see the FNP 9mm 4" barrel, matte black stainless, 16 RD mags (3), pictinney rail free bladtech holster and mag pounch $449.99 in Vance's ad. Is this similar to your gun? What is advantage of getting your gun for $500? Sorry for the dumb questions!

My wife and I are interested in getting some guns for personal and home protection. I have been reading different threads and other forums. I have a few things in mind, but I am not set on anything yet. I ultimately visualize a handgun for myself, another handgun for my wife, and a shotgun. I plan for the handguns to use the same ammo. At this point perhaps I will stay away from gun recommendations. It sounds like the next step is to get some instruction and guidance. Short of paying for a training class, I was wondering if anyone on here would be willing to help us out. We are looking for someone close to a true instructor as possible. Perhaps some of you on here are instructors? I realize everyone is busy these days, time is money too , but I figured this would be the best place to ask for some help. We are located in Pickerington. If everyone agrees that official classes are what we should do, that’s fine. Please post recommendations. +1 for Hame Me Down Dobes and FCDS There are plenty of great dogs at the Frankling County Dog Shelter. I recommend that you go volunteer there and walk different dogs. You will ultimately find one you like.
