there is rust around the fenders, the fender in the pic actually has a hole. I put the car on a lift about a week ago to change an O2 senser and looked it over, the frame is solid.

128k miles, runs strong, i've seen as high as 28 MPG highway, in town it dives to 19. It rides smooth and i do not hesitate to haul my family in it, just selling because i found a newer crown vic. LIke the description says, looking for a cheap 4.6l mustang airbox, the part in front of the MAF. It's kind of an experiment on another ford car so cheaper the better.

you could mod a vic/Grandmarq and they are every bit as reliable, but i'm looking at FWD/AWD due to the drifting snow i have up here. I got by on the merc, but it was not ideal to say the least.

what if they are only running 87 octane in it but driving like well, grandparents? the particular regal i'm looking at has 90k miles, and is super clean, but someone else has already spoken for it, so the owner will call me at 11 today if he has not sold it. what are the best years for these cars/motors? thanks guys. from my expierience with a few mustangs the downstream O2s just confirm that the emmisions equipt. are there and do not effect power or mileage. Lets remember folks, this country was founded by men that chose to not obey laws that sucked
