  2. well, I looked at both of those cars and a 94 cobra this weekend, and found ALOT of false advertizing. on the good side, i have founf a 98 in indy that goes low 12 N/A i just need somone who wants to go with me lol
  3. yeah thats what i am thinking, it is a clean slate. it will cost me more putting it together but i like it better that way if i'm going to keep it for a long time.
  4. how many CR members are there?about 1000 active currently. CR gets a point for every member that did not post, so the score is you: 1 CR: 980 :fuckyeah:
  5. Which one would you take? 96 GT, 87k mi. obviously repainted, minimal history on the car, but looks nice, has quite a few basic bolt-ons. he says it does have a bad sensor somewhere. $4200 http://akroncanton.craigslist.org/cto/2632921718.html 98 GT 122k mi 2nd owner, original except catback, shifter. Never seen snow, both owners put them away in the winter, current owner had it since 50k mi. They claim it is immaculate, only issue is that the e-brake light will come on on occasion. $4500 http://youngstown.craigslist.org/cto/2562706626.html I'm picking one of them up on saturday. what can you say i love these slow cars.
  6. yeah man i have to keep this in mind.
  7. i really dont like new edge cars that much, and the only fox i would own is a coupe. i've looked into 94-95 cars and they take just as much engine work to make power as modulars do, niether 5.0 or non-pi cars do well with stock heads. i was almost impressed with that 02 untill i realized it has 200k. i know i'm getting picky LOL but thanks for the finds, that 94 up by cleveland never answered his phone, or got back with me. i'm looking but you guys have talent in finding stuff. i know exactly what i do want but cant find one, a nice 1996 GT 248a car, power nothing. . . can't find them anywhere
  8. he sent me better pics, it looks good. it's a powerdyne supercharger, but it's a free supercharger
  9. well, i'm going to have to drive 3 hours but . . . for $4500. http://detroit.craigslist.org/okl/cto/2574992058.html should pick it up sunday if all goes well.
  10. http://columbus.craigslist.org/ctd/2608140888.html if i could only find a 99+ wrecked for under 2500? actually i think i'm just going to lurk untill i find something that i really like, i've always been the person that right after i buy something i see something else that would have been better if i would have waited, with it being winter, who knows, economy is bad maybe somone will have to pay thier heating bills and i'll get lucky.
  11. dammit! any color but red. i'll give it thought though.
  12. this for 3k? looks nice, needs engine . . . http://indianapolis.craigslist.org/cto/2607930955.html

  17. thanks guys, out all day so i'll reply to everyone, and keep em coming if you think of more, or run across a very good deal. not so much, it's actually hard to find nice 96-98 GTs for that price. in the last couple months i've found only a couple cobras inn that range and they have been ragged out. not really, they really hold thier value well, a 97-98 will still demand 7k in good condition. yeah, your car is gorgous BTW. i've had 289, 351w and 302's, also owned 7 mod motors, and i think modulars are like putting legos together compared to windsors. But you are right the 94-95's are cheaper, i may take a hard look at that as well and research 5.0 stuff a bit more. Also i'm a little partial because at least in my expierience a 4.6 stock short blocks have held up a bit better than my windsor stuff.
  18. Thanks for the suggestions, i have found all of 1 bmws on craigslist. The supra idea is something i may seriously look into further, just in columbus i have found a couple that look nice for cheap. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2564292841.html http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2602125569.html - bad wheels miata, no way i'm 6'3 but my body type is a bit wierd, i have a long torso and short legs, so as i sit my head hight is more like somone who is closer to 6-6. 300zx, oh hell no i've seen how hard they are to work on although they are gorgous and in budget. http://columbus.craigslist.org/cto/2570716720.html i'm hoping to pick up something pretty clean in that range and hopefully get a steal because no many people buy sports cars in the winter.
  19. I'm looking for somthing to take up some space in my garage/wrench on and flog on the weekends. Most know i'm fond of 96-98 mustangs, but i want other ideas too, here is the criteria: -Rear wheel drive -2 doors -Stick shift -$4500 Go!
