im about to do my lowering springs and struts i herd it takes a bit of time. hope yours turn out nice and smooth. graemlins/thumb.gif

well james (ohiosiguy) bought a 91 civic afew days ago and it burns antifreez like no other. well i talked to my dad and he said it could be a number of things head gasket, cracked head, cracked block. knowing the gasket had just been replaced and hoping the block wasnt the prob. we went to the junkyard and pulled a cyl head. now when we finaly got the junkyard head apart it look like that motor had juts burnt oil to all hell. right now i have the head soaking in my solvent tank ill probably leave it there for a day hoping it will make it easyer to get some of the burnt oil off. the only thing is, i dont know what i can use to get the burnt oil outa all the small ports? what should i use to do this with out fucking the ports up or grinding the walls?

that just happend to me well it was more just the tur signals and 4 ways but i put a new relay in and its all abck to normal

tap on the idle air control censor with a hammer and try it again if it idles or starts a little better it could be that, iv seen a couple cars at the shop run liek how u discrib because of the censor

i saw take it to good shop where u wont get bullshitted, kinda hard to tell somtimes from just a discription

how did strip it so bad? drain plugs shouldnt be on that tight

if you got it new id just take in back and ask what the deal was, usually new they have warranti

a general thing i look for on any trubo car is any oil or fluid leaks, any lines to the turbo make sure there is no leaks there, you dont want that turbo going out it can do damnage to the motor, with turbo dsm's fluids get dumped in the crankshaft after the turbos gone bad causeing it to seise(sp)i dont know if its the same deal with aa toyota but its worth looking out for, also see if you can find out if its the origonal turbo or if its eaten any turbos prior to your purchas.

about 6 months ago i rebuilt my trany in my garage(automatic, all drive gears were burnt), just with new factory parts, but i never put in a new filter i just used the old one now over the winter the trany made a realy loud whining noise. when spring hit i finaly replaced the filter and the whining was there it was just greatly reduced, well since ive been running 100 shot insted of 50/75 its been whining again, now i asked my dad but hes to lazy to take a look at it, now im wordering if all that extra stress thats being put on it all the suddon is making it whine like that again, is this so or do u guys have any idea?

Yea IWISHIWASCOOL is right with a 55 shot you will be disapointed you will feel a tiny boost, bets shot it to use it before the 60 ft, just my opinion tho

ok first of all wet shot isnt nessisaraly goin to not damage your car, Dry can be just as safe with a turbo at that low of shot just as long as the try kit has the regulator that gives you a secondary fuel. secondly yea the nitrious will damage the pltnums easily as others said just get a standard plug nothing special and third a nitirous ist as damaging if you use it right acording to your instructions, acording to your aplication it will give you a minimum recomended RPM you should be at before you spray, this will help prefent wear.

You could always get them without the coating then if you decide you want the coating sendthem off to Jet Hot or Airborn and get em coated for like 80 bucks

on reyoldsburg new albany rd bewtween the intersections of that and broad and that and taylor rd there are usualy 1-2 sherif sitting in a parking lot just waiting for people to fly around the corners. i always see them nabing people so make sure u crus by at 35mph any more and theyll get ya
