  1. BEST POST HERE. There wouldn't be enough internet for 8 days of it. Thorne, im happy for you and imma let you finish. But you wore one of the worst shirts of all time, of all time. Think you can pray for CTD to make 2000hp with the lambo?
  2. Lights out V was broadcast on motormaniatv.com last year. I'm sure it will be this year as well. And no, there isn't anywhere local to see 4.0's or 3's
  3. That's why I wasn't sure. I'm not familiar with that type of setup and what it does.
  4. Pointy elbows. Would not bang. Fwiw the Ford GT is the car I would buy if I were Mr. Deeds rich. Dk why either, just love it and I don't like Fords. Edit: the 01 ones or whatever, not new.
  5. Do that at 59 and lmk how that goes. Let's assume you didn't have much to start on as well, along with what I'd assume to be a HS education.
  6. "I'm hurt, offended and hurt." In this day, what he does is recognizable. I'm sure that job means as much to him as he does to that job. There is something to be said for that. I hope this guy gets a rocket for a work vehicle.
  7. I doubt this is what the guy asked for. I'd bet he didn't setup his gofundme deal either. Some of you are straight dicks or your thoughts are. I'm sure he could get a job closer to home, but at almost 60 maybe his coworkers are like his family and likely part of his reason for doing what he does. Never know someones situation. To the dicks, try opening up your dense heads.
  8. Gotcha. One thing I did notice on Rays car is it seems to "settle" when it's on the trans brake. On blown or NA cars, thats a sign of something starting to fail. Trans pressure is moving somewhere it shouldn't (pump, or lip seal gasket are most common). I'm not sure how a turbo car/trans combined affect this.
  9. What does this "running my own car" mean? New project or just as the question sounds?
  10. Who cares? Peoples friends with Buicks don't know they are in a Buick
  11. Yep, I'll go ahead and call it. That's sweet. Good to see another screw in odr. Stevie Fast doing the same thing. Just hope this type of setup will work when its hot out, and still have enough on the other end.
  12. 86 Cavalier Thing had blue gauge lights and a system. Went 19.19 at 56mph at trails. Man did i piss off some guys in that car bracket racing lol. Never won, but got to the semis several times @ 16 in street.
  13. Take the governor off it?
  14. Brb. Shoveling driveway onto car. Good luck out there today!
  15. With me on mine (200lbs) I went 48mph (gps). Slightly modified 212cc motor. Got to semi finals in Kentucky on a dial in 330' pit race lol. You've gotta watch for big dips or things in the road being there is no suspension. It could get ugly fast on these.
  16. I talked to the pit race master and set up a race. Plan on going right up the list with the Pit Dragon. http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/20140619_161425_zpsmjbjtglf.jpg
  17. Went to HS with Logan, dude knows his rotaries. Think that car has been done for years, irrc.
  18. This is complete from top to bottom, including blower. Bolt in and go. Engine is still in car so it can be heard running. Makes a little over 800hp (guessing based on times/weight) at only 5.5% od on blower. Blower can be turned 20% all out. Can run pump gas 93 and make over 700 pretty easily. I'll do a short parts list and give a detailed one to interested buyers. Have all receipts for parts installed. Everything is a year or less old, except short block which will be 2 years in November this year. Very limited street miles put on it, maybe 600 miles or so. -383 010 block -All Eagle rotating assembly 8.1 CR L19 rod bolts 6" rods. Short block done by Bob Beach -Double keyway crank and balancer (Ati) -AFR 220 cnc comp heads -Scorpion 1.8 rockers -Comp Cam solid blower cam/lifters (lift is .651 with rockers) -871 Dyers blower -2 750 KB Carbs blower carbs -Mezeire electric water pump (55gpm) -Cloyes timing cover, and gear drive timing set -Arp Studs -AFR Stud girdle -Milodon oil pump and pan -Brad Penn 10w30 oil always used and oil changed in Nov. Anything I forget I'll add. Any other pics needed just ask as I only have a few right now. http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/20140530_184647_zpstapjbxvu.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/20140522_154513_zpsuoadplkt.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/20140522_173747_zpsifdsig3j.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/2013-10-07143719_zps2d17259e.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/2013-10-07144011_zps833eae2c.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/2013-10-07143809_zps99230b35.jpg http://i1285.photobucket.com/albums/a587/shief13/2013-01-07212750_zpsfd4c5043.jpg
  19. There is only enough room on this board for 1 dragon. And it's white.
  20. Thought I'd bring this little quote up. Opinions can be wrong, see kids. We did own Oregon. Now that was a fact I typed. If you don't believe me, just look up the last time tOSU won a NC.
  21. Not sure if it's been mentioned yet, but how about a Busa? Or Saab
  22. When you live in certain parts of Ohio a badass truck is what it's about. Like us with cars, it's the same. I don't live in those parts and still enjoy a badass truck. Seems one of these "lifted truck for no reason" guys jumped down from his truck and landed in your girl. It happens. I like the Supra posers who brag about how they made 1000hp then go to the strip and rip off an 11 second pass. So I guess both sides of the coin are one in the same in that regard.
