Not when it's on a trans brake. The stuff you mentioned comes into play when it goes down the track and when it shifts.

Wow. The hp the engine made at that stall rpm will help you sell it. So say 600hp stalls 2200, a 800hp car will stall higher. Just gives buyer lil more info. Glws

^When Ford builds a 56k+ 2 seat Mustang to be road raced and it is matched against the Corvette the test is "unfair".

 

I love the GT350 but it would be tough for me to pull the trigger when it is crowding Corvette pricing. As far as resale, the Corvette is a good play as well - it may not hold quite as much value as the Mustang if Ford keeps the exclusivity it has promised but "half" is laughable.

Some mechanic shops are very slow, and have been. However, some haven't slowed down at all. Construction is booming now and has been the last couple years. I don't see it slowing down anytime soon. Pipe fitters make very good money after the 4 or 5 year apprenticeship (which there is classes and learning time in there). Still make decent money during the apprentice period.

Fuel Injection fixes all the problems of a blow-thru. You know that harness and computer you're selling.

 

With a proper blow thru.....you shouldn't need FI.

I'll give them a call. Already have a carb the right cfm just want to have it reworked for blow thru.

I did what Bob mentioned in working in a trade, learn, and start your own business. I've always had a mechanic business to fall back on (from my dad's business). I'm not successful yet, but in a niche market I'm doing very good in my 1st year. The sense of direction is the real drive and was the biggest thing missing. Wanting to do better is in everyone. Execution is on you.

I really like Andy Fricilla and the MFCeo project. I'm not a podcast guy. But I love what he says, and everyone can relate. It's easy motivation, and if you have some of the qualities he projects......you know success can be in your future.
