  1. I would delete dumbass posts that show (said Hal in this case) that they have no clue what they are talking about. Turning rotors (worth turning) and saving costly pads (if there is decent pad left on them) is how you get/keep customers. Not by selling unnecessary/costly parts. You must have a commision based job there Hal. Your giving the rotor new surface and the pad a new surface. Nothing wrong with doing this with brake pads. Do it all the time (never had a comeback/complaint) and work for a very respected shop. You just have to know what your doing or in your case Hal, know what your talking about.
  2. Hill billy? No son...the concrete is better than your Abercrombie gina paper way. Didn't you see I stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night? If there was a problem, YO I'd solve it. Check out the hook while my dj revolves it.
  3. 4 points: 1. Ditch the engine -Speeensive parts/ kind of a pita to work on/part$ Save the heads because I think they bolt on certain sb chevy blocks. Might want to check on that 2. Torque tube/tranny -Both suck. Uses a torque tube to go from engine to tranny (which is in the back). So decide what rear/tranny combo your gonna use/fab up 3. 86 had the best seats easily on the 928's. Feels like you don't even need a seatbelt kinda hug 4. Profit???
  4. And puts you some damn anti-seize on them therrr hubs too

    Discuss UFC....

I don't want it to become a WWF deal either. But what do you expect? I mean people want what's different and real. The UFC is/was both, you can't blame the UFC. I disagree with you on the weight classes though. If you didn't have these, I feel alot of talent would have been left on the table that wouldn't be seen. I mean good fighter or not a 5'7" 165# guy shouldn't fight some 6'7" 300# guy. For safety reasons and just overall strength wouldn't be fair. Gotta admit that Oh...and footstomps are gay
  6. No need for all that money to be spent. If the pads/rotors have decent life, then just get the rotors turned. Then take the pads and rub them on a concrete surface (sidewalk, driveway- side to side) until you get a new or close to new surface on the pad. Lube your slides/clips and you'll be good to go son. Do it all the time, and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express last night.
  7. Those don't do anything for people that know what to do or have the slightly universal sockets to take locklugs off. I have quite a few sockets at work made to take off locking lugs/stripped lugs. I also have 4 SSR GT3's in the for sale section as well
  8. 2 bottles of 5 hour energy and hopes of being hot enough for a female (pref. rich) to buy me a boat.
  9. The irony of your post and what's under your name...
  10. That's because you've probably never worked on one. V6 or V8 it's still a hot mess. Being nice to look at/drive, but spensive parts/pita to work on. No thanks, I'd take an Audi if I wanted that
  11. All i'm hearin is blah blah blah.....when I should see *inserthotGinapicshere*. Unless your that guy who thinks she isn't up to his par. Guess the name says it all
  12. Yup Just got word. He had a heart attack, and then lost control of the car. Not sure when it happened, might have started as early as 60' mark. No chassis flaws though.
  13. The end of the track song on a 1 song cd "Another one bites the dust....and another one gone and another one gone...another one bites the dust"
  14. Dunno who was told what here, but the tire marks on the track was not from his car. No flat spots on the tires either from the brakes locking up. As for the bar above his head, it was not "broke" worn down some but not broke or cracked from the crash. Car was built about 13 years ago by Pat Kronenbitter (sp) aka PK Race Cars. Who is easily one of the best chassis builders in the Midwest, as some of you know if you know anything about chassis work or drag cars in general. Family friend of ours who worked in front of my dad's shop for a few years. Car is now sitting up at Theodores (another roadster guy) and NHRA is going up to look at the car to try and determine what exactly happened. RIP to him. Left behind a wife and his 5 year old son.
  15. My ex-boss has a 07 GT500, he was a dick.....must come with the supercharger. Your 500 feels like it has 4 doors being how floppy it is. But the rainbow colors that can accent your cupholders and floors are sthuper though
  16. Lookin to start playing again and was wondering where to go or if anyone plays. I'm no pro, but I can handle the basics halfway decent and can move good. Any ideas or regular spots to play?
  17. Take blown I6 out and put new one in and I think you'll pass on this POS suv. Junk, and I'm a GM gah.
  18. What are you doing with your old engine/blower? How bad is the old engine? Need one for a future project.
  19. Ormonds Steakhouse in FL. There is 2 of them down there. Like a Mortons, but better. You'll ruin the steak by putting anything on it.
  20. Not to thread jack but I do have a S13 (your car) 5spd tranny to get rid of. Works fine, $85. you just gotta get the actual shifter part for it. Makes me miss my S13 coupes
