  1. Damn, that is crazy. Sorry to hear your loss
  2. IPS sucks. I had to wait over 3 months to get my wideband from them. I mean what the hell. J/K, new place looks very nice. Can't wait to check it out. If you guys don't like your heat bill (assuming your using those heaters hanging), let me know and I can give you some info on a very nice waste-oil heating system that actually works. Just got one installed here at the shop, night and day compared to our other one.
  3. Just run it for awhile and take it for a decent drive (like 40 miles or so), then you'll be good to go. Since all you did was ring it, it's not like your breaking in a new built engine.
  4. Very classy Anthony. I really liked having everyone on here seem as one, instead of groups that stick together. Eventhough I haven't been to a meet yet, I do plan on making alot next spring/summer since hopefully I'll have a decent car to bring. I hope the other guys you metioned come back and understand the deal going on here.
  5. Yes you can drill out the rivets on the TB. Some of the TPS's did come with screws if your going to the junkyard. If it's riveted and if you have enough room cut a cross shape into the rivet and try to get it out with a flat-head screwdriver before having to drill it out.
  6. A H22 is not bad for daily driving in your CRX. You will not notice any difference from any of the B-series, even on off-ramps. Now as far as auto-x, I don't know. I'm sure it won't be good.
  7. Work on a northstar V8, then it won't be sweet.
  8. Ben what turbo timers will do this? Not the parking brake thing though. You know any off-hand? I haven't really looked into any yet.

    Power for 300zx

I'd upgrade the engine, but that's just me.

    Halo 2

So is Halo 2 available everywhere now? Like Walmart, etc.
  11. Looks very sweet. What kind of coilovers did you get and how do you like the ride? Oh yeah, and post pics of your engine smile.gif
  12. That's why you get a splitter at Jegs or the like. Basically it takes whatever fluid your pulling from the engine and turns it into water or even Kool-Aid, whatever you put going into the car to prevent fuel and such from spraying in your car if something happens smile.gif As for the boost guage....your friend isn't using the fitting on the turbo going to the hotpipe is he? This will cause weird boost/vac levels on the guage also depending on the turbo.
  13. Check everything in the front. Just make sure that all the arms aren't moving. Check your PS fluid even.
  14. Yeah you can get them out while they're on the truck (I'm assuming). Hopefully it's not 4x4, so you don't have to deal with the axle bugging you. Usually you can just find something close to the size of the ball joint (like a big socket), and hammer it out. Spray some PB or WD40 on it and beat the shit out of it. If that doesn't work and you have air, then use a air hammer and drive it out. The hammer and big object should get it though. To put the new one in, you can beat it back in but I wouldn't advise it. You'll need a ball joint press (should be able to get from Autozone, Advance etc.). Take the new ball joint with you to make sure they can match it up with their press. Just tap on the new joint to get it started then use the press to push it the rest of the way in.
  15. On a ball joint you really shouldn't get alot of grease from them. If it's just a little then don't worry about it. If you think it's more than a little then I'd replace them. Depending on how good the tire are on the vehicle, I'd replace them if you have newer tires.
  16. I'm gonna guess the steering box, based on that description. Check the pitman arm while your there too.

    Colorado SS

That would change my decision on the Dakota I want. But it probably won't come out

    NEWBIE here

Cool a fast (ok well quick smile.gif ) cavy. Ecotecs are awesome engines, and I'm sure your gonna suprise some people that don't know the potential of that engine in the future. Anyway welcome.

  22. Yeah I really liked the way the Colorado looked (kinda like the SS, w/o the $40,000 price tag), but then looked at the engine, and boy did they mess that up with that 5 cyl Which put me more towards the Dakota. Yeah I'd be towing a car under 3,000lbs and not out of state, so it's a tough decision.
