You will have to get pistons that are setup for nawws, otherwise your wasting your time filing the rings for nitrous. You can go sky high with the compression and sky high with the nitrous. Compression isn't the issue when using nitrous, most of the time it's fuel or lack there of. Just be sure your car/engine can handle the amount of nitrous you want to run.

Better hope the Cougar never has any probs if it's the V6 model. Those things = the suck to work on. If you get a Cougar get the 4 cyl, I know it sucks but look at the 2 cars you gave us an option to choose from smile.gif

Yeah I had it shipped from Cali. Yup, has cool 80's interior as well. Also has this lady that comes over the speaker "*ding*, your light's are on" or "*ding*, your keys are in the ignition". Glad there is a button to turn that shit off. I don't know if I like the exhaust that came with it, but we'll see.

Got it figured out (hopefully). Wastegate is opening WAY to soon. Gotta get some kind of boost controller. Plus timing was advanced 10 degress, causing a slight detonation, which causes the det sensor to retard the timing 10 more degrees. Anyway, thanks for the info.

Makes like 1 or 2 pounds. Anyway to make the wastegate 'unfreeze'? If there's not then I'll replace it tomorrow. Funny you should say that Dave, because that's the last thing I'm down to. If that's not it then the 'good turbo' is not good.

The "gun resets every 15 mins" is BS. You have the right for him to show you the speed on the gun. Do some looking into how radar/laser guns work and see if they do reset. I don't think they do. Unless you were detected by plane, I'd take that shit to court. If you ask to see the gun, he has to show it to you.

+1 600-800 grit will do the job. Then just clay-bar it. After that finish it off with aluminum polish. Scratches will go away, but it won't happen in 5 mins or anything.
