Ill probably go up with my buddy friday or saturday. Id like to race but i have never braket raced before. I see theres a fwd class tho.

The front control arms always go bad, the timming belt needs to be changed around 100k, wheel bearings, abs modules, valve cover gaskets, coils..... If you get one of these cars plan on atleast spending 2gs in repairs, if you take it to a garage to have the work done.

Man, those cars are gonna fu(kin own. Its supprising to see they use the auto trans. How much HP's does it take to break the current 6 speed in the zo6.

I thought the track was very sticky too. My first pass was on my 17 inch cobras and that was one of my best passes.

Wow dude looks like you were movin pretty good. Id like to try that but im affriad the gtp wouldnt be the car to do it in.

The most common things I see on those cars are the valve cover gaskets leaking, the thermostat housings leaking and the foward rear control arm bushings / A arms. Seems like mass air meters are becomming a common thing too. The biggest thing to look for is under the oil cap, just like audis you can tell if the person has let the oil changes go for a while by looking for crud in the valve cover and under the cap.

If you havent found one yet you can call jim or bill at midstate autoparts on byers circle. I think they stock um.
