Well, I've been looking for mosin nagants for awhile now waiting for the right one to fall into my lap and just my luck I called a local gun store and somebody traded in a couple mosin's on a high dollar rifle. I got to the store and had them pull the 3 mosins out for me. Finally my Mosin dreams came true and between the 2 8ft tall 91/30 russian mosin's was a Finnish M39 in immaculate condition. What was even better is it was for a stupid low price of $139. So excited as I was, I snatched it up, picked up a few 20 packs of non corrosive ammo to test it out and away I went to shoot it.
The caliber ammo Mosin's shoot are 7.62x54r
The rifle is a Finnish 1944 Valtion Kirvaaritehdas (VKT) M39 mosin nagant.

Here are some pics. The pics dont do justice to how clean and amazing the birch wood stock looks along with the rest of this rifle. This m39 was dead on accurate so I was pleasantly pleased I didn't have to zero it in since it seemed like the previous owner did that.
Now to some pics. These are Iphone pics so sorry. Yes it isn't crazy short "20inch barrel, 47inch overall" but still very short compared to a 91/30 mosin.
Hope everyone enjoys. I know it isn't some crazy expensive AR build or some high price pistol but I'm a fan of old weapons so I've always wanted one of these.
