You should set a good example and take him under you're wing. Teach him how to succeed in places where he has failed. It seems like people never gave him that kind of help ya know from what I read on here. But if he has been giving many chances and helping hands along the way then I guess its hopeless. But its always good to help somebody with a long line of bad luck, self inflicted or not.

Yea, I def need a tripod for the camera. You gotta tell me some pointers about photoshop and also about taking good pics since i'm a photo noob n all. And here's my first time dabbing with photoshop. I did this tonite after reading online how to do it. I figured I'd try and lower the car somewhat just for fun. awesome man. And I hear ya on the coilovers. I'm saving up for a nice set to throw on the VW. Also, have fun cleaning those wheels. I'm sure they'll be plenty of a bitch to clean since mine are relatively similar and I hate my life cleaning every nook on those things.

38k miles. I try to keep it clean all the time. The interior is mint also. Plus, It helped that the previous owner was a professional detailer on the side and kept it shiny every chance he got

Well, it was yet another nice day and since I couldn't make it up to the dynobrian meet I figured I'd at least do a good detail on the vw. So after wash/wax and interior clean I waited til the sun died down some then the fiance and I went and took some pics of the dub. Here's how they came out. Also, at the end I got a 2 pic teaser of my neighbor's(John) new project car. He's already got the engine/tranny built just has to paint the car and its done. The car is all setup to for the track minus the engine/tranny part. Oh, and he projected the car to go 10's all day on motor 9's on spray with this engine/suspension/tranny setup. ps: He's also part of akron racing and is an AMC BOY and said he'll try and come up this summer with me to cbus for some track fun . HOLY SHIT. that was quite possibly one of the best saves in a car race that i've seen period. Also, that guy's asshole had to be puckered inside out when it went sideways like that.

howd you get this job doug? what all schooling did you have to prepare you for this kind of work? Is it quite rewarding for you? I know I'd be taking full advantage of what I am learning there and apply it to my own car in terms of knowledge.
