LOL this is exactly what I have. A HUGEEEEE 120-200g electric hot water tank from the stone age. I know replacing this should save me tons. This will be my next point of attack.

I just looked up Roku and chromecast. It seems that Roku would be perfect for what we'd want along with using plex media server. I'm going to look into it more this week and hopefully it will be something that would work out for us. Thanks alot and keep the opinions coming.

Right now we're with Comcast and I feel like I'm getting raped every month. I pay for cable,internet and phone. Main reason for cable is so that my 2 two yr old sons can watch their shows during the day. Would it be worth canceling and then going with a smart tv in the living room and purchase netflicks then just pay to have internet? I need some opinions here because I feel like i'm throwing money away every month when I pay this comcast bill.

What's everybody's take on this? What steps are you doing to make your house more efficient? Aside from installing and running a wood burning furnace in the winter to keep the electric furnace from kicking on I don't really have any other energy efficient items in the house. I'm just now getting around to starting small and getting light bulbs switched out to led. I know my old LCD & plasma tv's aren't helping the cause either. I also plan on changing out some windows and getting a better/newer thermostat for the house. My house was built in the 80's btw so I've been replacing stuff with newer items over the years. Let's hear what everybody is doing to promote being more efficient and also share some tips/ideas for the rest of us. This can apply to saving electric, water, etc.

I've had it once. It is painful. Looks like a rash that will wrap around half of your body. it'll either be on the right or left side. If you didn't catch it before it broke out then It'll have to run it's course and there's nothing out there to speed it up. Although it'll feel itchy at times, do not scratch it unless you like the sensation of your body set on fire. Unreal pain. I got it out of nowhere years ago after being under alot of stress. Took about 1-2wks to fully go away. That same year I had appendicitis and had to get my appendix out lol. Talk about a painful year.

Bingo. Who has time to tinker with adding coals/wood all day. Sure that's the traditional way but embrace technology!

I honestly have no specific choice on iron type. I've been out of the game for awhile so I don't know really what the difference would be. I'd prefer reg flex but I'm open to any for the right price. I'm willing to spend the money as long as they are something I like. Would love To find a great deal bc who wouldn't lol.

Yea, this is what i've been looking around for. The set I have in talks for is a nice Calloway demo set. Will know by end of the week if I can get it or not.

Nice meaning they aren't some set of knights from dicks sporting goods lol. Something like taylormade,Calloway,ping,Nike, etc.. Let me know what your buddy wants for the nikes and what all it comes with. I got a lead on a nice set of Calloways but won't know more til Friday.
