I often get miffed when watching a movie that has such useless and loud background noise that I can't hear the dialogue. I found myself feeling the same way about 1/3 of the way through this movie. By the end, I realized it didn't matter. This is a movie meant to be watched and felt, not watched and heard.

Summer before last some buddies from work and I shot a shitload of clays. I think I went through over 8,000 rounds in just 2015. I can't begin to tell you how much money I donated to Cardinal shooting center that year. lol. First off, Cardinal is worth the drive. Top notch facility. Blackwing isn't bad but I've found that a good bit of their throwers malfunction, which is annoying. I prefer sporting clays over all. It's like golf with a shotgun. Trap = You rotate between 5 different positions in a semicircle(ish) shape. You shoot single or double. 25-50 clays. The bunker is in front of you throwing clays away from you. The trap machine oscillates left and right so you won't know exactly which direction its going to take. Skeet = 8 stations. There's a high house and a low house on the left and right, respectively. Every round is the exact same no matter where you go. It's fast paced. I personally suck at skeet but don't really shoot it that much. Sporting clays = random course. Usually 50 or 100 clays spread throughout a number of stations; each course is different. You usually shoot 2-4 pairs of clays per station. They are thrown in either true pairs (both release at same time) or report pairs (1st goes on 'pull', 2nd goes on report of the gun).

No, what's worthless to the conversation is you constantly throwing your opinion around as fact. Life and Death isn't all rainbows and lollypops. Somethings just can't be fixed. We know the outcomes. We know how they're going to play out. And yet we spend extreme amounts of money to get the same result. Now, I'm not arguing that our healthcare may cost more for the same thing than another country, and I agree that needs fixed. But if we're on the subject of cutting costs, then shouldn't we look at ALL of the reasons it costs so much?

I realize that. I'm talking about more in the acute phase, though. Someone gets shot up and we dump 120+ units of blood product into them. They end up anoxic and die anyways. A septic patient who sits on CRRT for weeks at a time. The end up with Mulit-Organ Dysfunction Syndrome....and die anyways. An ARDS patient who sits in a Rotoprone bed for over a month. Their ET tube has been in so long the cuff deteriorates, blows, and then they die anyways. Each one of these people easily rack up bills for $1M+. And they die anyways. I realize there's always a minuscule chance they pull out, but that's rarely the case. I don't feel like there's any line drawn at all right now, but I feel that there should be one somewhere.

A major problem in healthcare spending is the fact that we dump INSANE amounts of money and resources into trying to fix people who can't be fixed. It's hard to explain to families that their loved one is fucked. No, we've got to drag it out to the bitter end to the point that fate overrides our ability to counteract it.

I hear The Rock is thinking about running in 2020...
