  1. Ask Amy on here. I think she's associated with the guy. I used to have his business card with the web addy. Even found several pics of my car on his site.
  2. He should also be the first to take it off. Do not want. The rest of the car is gangster though.
  3. HPT has that capability now? That would make it simple for him. Synergy Motorsports also offers a wire-in unit that they custom tailor to your car. I will be running this unit in my car due to the fact that I can't use EFILive's 2-step function with a boosted car.
  4. DO NOT do a burnout on dry tires at the track. Great way to split a casing in half. My track burnout procedure that hasn't failed me yet (synopsis of Ranger from CorvetteForums write-up): 1. pull around water box so front tires stay dry 2. back into water box with rear tires only 3. Put car in 1st, spin tires one or two revolutions to lightly coat in water. 4. pull out of waterbox to prevent excess water from splashing onto your fenderwell, and then falling on your tires during your run. 5. Put car in 2nd gear. Get RPMs up a good ways and drop the hammer. 6. Immediately apply LIGHT pressure to the brake pedal with your left foot while adjusting RPM/tirespeed with your throttle. 7. Continue your burnout until you've got a decent cloud of smoke going. 8. When you feel RPMs begin to drop/tires start to grab, release the brake and roll out of it like a badass. 9. Flex muscles for all the cameras that are surely pointed at you and your car. 10. ???????? 11. Profit http://smiliesftw.com/x/jerkbowdown.gif P.S - If it starts to wheel hop, get your foot off the throttle. http://smiliesftw.com/x/squint.gif
  5. 1. MUCH lower intake temps (lower than ambient air) 2. octane increase 3. cleans your internals 4. ultimately reduces chance of knocking What's not to love?
  6. Alcohol injection is your friend (and mine).
  7. Sam, you know if you have someone tune your car with EFILive, it has a built in 2-step feature.... Just a thought.
  8. Yea, I believe I said the same thing last fall. It was my first time at Norwalk, and I wasn't overly impressed with the prep work. I still had a blast though. The best hooking track i've been to yet (only been to trails and NRP) was trails on the nite of King of Columbus (sucks balls any other time). The track was prepped super good that night. I was launching at 3k and still bogging off the line. Suprised the heck out of me. Managed my best 60' I've had in the car (stock tires) with a low 1.9 time. I only managed a few 1.9's when I went to NRP. Doesn't really matter to me which track we go to in the fall. I'm in either way.
  9. Good to hear it's working out for you Ant. You going to upgrade that P1 to a D or F series this year? F1R would be mighty wicked......... :leghump: DO IT!!!! Edit* - BTW, ^that^ car has since hit 885/814 on pump gas and meth and is still running out of fuel....
  10. Yea, I've got 60lb. Mototrons, a racetronics pump, PnP harness, and a KB BAP sitting here waiting to go on my car as well (fuck you PTK...), but, I plan on adding to that as I don't think it'll support more than 600-650whp safely. I won't know for certain until: 1. I actually get my turbo kit, and 2. I start tuning to see when the fuel pressure starts to drop off. Have you upgraded to a return style system yet? If not, I'd recommend doing so. Either that, or do like Sam did and go with a progressive controller so there isn't as much of a shock on the fuel system when the nitrous hits. I eventually plan on going with twin pumps, 1:1 fuel pressure regulator, and a complete return system. Good luck with your project. You get Eric's old kit hooked up yet? p.s. Some folks over in the LS1tech vette section were asking about your car a few weeks back.
  11. Thanks for the advice guys. How DO you tune these things? Burn chips? Flash memory?
  12. You folks know that Racetronix sells a PnP fuel pump harness with larger diameter wire, don't you? That might help the heat situation. What are the specs on your fuel system, Tilley? If you don't mind me asking. I've got mine all drawn out on paper, and I'm quite confident it'll work, in theory, but I'm trying to get an idea of what everyone else is running. All the guys on CorvetteForum say when you ask them about their fuel setup is, "buy the ECS kit. It's good to 800whp." Who the fuck wants to stay under 800whp? That's no fun.....
  13. A friend of mine has a '91 GT he's wanting to make a bit faster. A friend of his had a Powerdyne supercharger on his mustang, and has since upgraded to a Vortech T-trim. So, said friend of mine has come upon this Powerdyne headunit and bracket setup for pretty cheap. I know what all is involved in boosting a vette, but what about mustangs? My main question is how do you tune the thing? I believe he said it was an EEK system. I'm not sure what all he's getting in the kit, but he's pretty good at fabrication, so making some parts shouldn't be too hard if need be. kthxbye.
  14. Yea, I've seen that vid. Definitely a badass setup. What's the top speed on that boat?
  15. You're going to need more than that jet boat if we're bringing out our father's boats...
  16. Some of you may remember a few days ago; I posted about Lingenfelter's new TT C6 Z06 hitting 159 in the quarter. That same car has just beat out the #1 car, a viper, for the standing mile record. http://www.lingenfelter.com/Lingenfelter2006ZO6TTBGB.htm Seems to me that the Vettes are gaining ground fast on the Vipers. uh oh.... *edit* - Meant to post this in the Passing Lane. Please move.
  17. You mean you've been riding all these years on just a temp. permit?

  19. Put some VHT on the belt and try it again. See if that doesn't help.
  20. Amazing pics, mang. What camera do you use?
  21. Damn, that fits rather well. Great work!
