I kinda wrote that in a hurry before I went out. Was hoping people would just throw out places that were hiring. Let's see, I've done construction, landscaping, spent a few summers at a dealership detailing cars, running parts, driving the shuttle vans and even did some new cars sales. I keep current on things like cars and on electronic technology, like TVs and cell phones. I am a journalism major and just finished up a year-long internship with the Delaware Gazette, so I am also an excellent writer and can do any sort of job that involves writing/editing. Basically, I am looking for a job to have for about 6 months while I finish school. Maybe longer depending on the job.

I gotcha. The reason I asked was my mom has a basic plan, so she can call locally on the landline and if she has to call long distance, she uses her cell. But that probably won't work for your situation.

HAve you called the phone company about getting a basic landline phone plan?

When I bought my car, I kept in mind how much you could realistically pay per month as well as how much money you want to put down. Then you have to work out what the dealer is willing to do plus the interest rate. But having a general mindset on what you want to spend is a good way to start.

It's bad enough that kids are fighting each other and taping it, but for parents to condone and actually encourage it is something far worse. I hope those parents are arrested, locked up, and their children taken away. This is regardless of whether they are black, white, latino, whatever.
