I didn't know it was used for competitions. However, I don't think you need one to shoot racoons, but I guess that's your style. It's not about being allowed to own one or not. I just want to know why someone needed something with the power and capability. A gun is still a gun regardless, but an automatic rifle might be overkill for home protections, for example. I got a good chuckle out of that. You expecting to participate in a coup d'etat? So you're saying that your NEED to own one is simply because you can?

I've heard of transmissions failing on those cars. I've also heard some have a lot of electrical problems. That's just what I've been hearing. I'd suggest you find a Mazda6 forum and see what others are saying specifically and see if you guys see anything specific. However, they are great cars to drive. Looked at a V6 with three pedals, but couldn't afford it. Bought the 3 instead.

I think women get a bad rep is because they are portrayed as not caring about a car and driving like most guys do. They just see a car as a way to get around, nothing more. Because of that, they really don't care about how they are driving or what they are doing since the actual act of driving gets in their way, so to speak. They just want to get to their destination as soon as possible. Also, I swear to God, women have zero depth perception. They simply cannot place how far their bumper is from the garage wall, cars around them, light posts, etc.

I understand the whole 2nd Amendment and what it stands for. I'm all for it. I cannot stand having the government stepping in and tell a citizen what they can and cannot do. I am not for a ban on guns or anything, so don't think I am arguing against the gun lovers on here. I plan on being a gun owner later on in life myself as I've always shot with friends and family. What I want to know is why you or I would NEED (not want) to own an AR-15 or an AK-47. I want a real, justifible answer to why someone would own a gun of that magnitude when a handgun will suffice. My thought is, you can't really conceal it on you, and if you could, it would be a bit unwielding. It seems a bit much for home protection unless you are constantly having gurella soldiers attacking your house or something ridiculous like that. Maybe I'm wrong in my thoughts, maybe I'm right. I just want to hear a good, solid reasoning.

I'm going to get crap for asking this, but why would a private citizen need an assult rifle? I'm looking for valid reasoning other than it's your constitutional right.

Yes I would probably drive it. It's an inexpensive RWD coupe that's practical. As long as it handles as well as they promised, insurance rates don't become ridiculous, and the aftermarket keeps growing, I would definitely consider one as my next car.
