Well, I have received my new setup and the following package off my stroker is for sale.
90mm FAST Intake manifold
90mm FAST throttle body. (cable driven)
36# Lucas Injectors (@48psi) I think
$900.00
Would prefer to sell as a package.
Thanks, Larry
Last year I bought a new steel deck car hauler here in Greene County that came from a company called Lawrimore. I found the ad on Craigslist.
It was new, with spare tire it was $2,500.00 after tax. I looked at a few used
enclosed and open trailers and decided with the money I had set aside I'd go
with this new one. With my car sitting low I did have to make wooded ramp
extensions. Good luck with your search.
This very same thing happened to me on my TA a couple of years ago.
I too would drop my insurance on the Bird during the winter months.
I sent in a letter from a automotive repair shop that stated I was having
blah, blah done to the car and that it had been in there garage for a couple of months. Later the BMV sent me a letter thanking me for my reply.
Now my Bird has always been garaged and hell I've only put 1007 miles on
it since 2009 I will always keep at least the min. coverage. It's only $16.00
a month for cryin out loud. I do add full coverage during the summer months.
Good luck my friend.
Man, we are cured of our ailment.
I plugged the MAP sensor first before i stuck
it in the manifold then pushed the intake back
to bolt it up. Whew! Now I can get back to tuning.
I pulled the intake again last night.
While examining the seal I noticed in the connector
end that 1 of 3 pins was bent flat.
That would explain why I've been throwing a code
all this time. I replace the plugs since all the fuel the pcm
has been dumping during this time.
Man I hope this cures the ailment.
Thanks for your reply.
I'm taking the intake off again and will be checking the wiring
in the back and checking the vac lines as well.
Hard to believe I've lost this much power.
Have had this for awhile.
I've logged with HPTuners last night.
My MAP reading is 93 kPa all the time
from idle to WOT.
I've lost 5-7 mph and .5 et.
Is this a vacuum leak?
Don't I know that for sure. You know the new carb'd LS intakes have been machined to accept the rubber gaskets we use know. If you had your stock intake digitized then you could have the rectangular grooves machined into it thus providing a better seal. If not take your time and use plenty of RTV.
Don't use the brush on type like I did.
Good luck DarkFormula
A buddy of mine with an LT-1 is going that route. New trans
and a Edge 9-1/2" convertor.
I don't want to blow up anything. But him and a few others
think that is the way to get the most effeciency out of your stall.
Nice pic in your sig Anthony.
