  8. the modulator should be on manifold vacuum
  9. out for sooner in for longer ...if you have a vacuum can hooked up with it they tend to play hell with them giving false vacuum signals
  10. make sure there is vacuum going to it........... most of the time if the modulator is bad there will be trans fluid dripping from the modulator it can make a nice white smoke if the engine burns it

  12. ford c4s use a rod all it does is kick down.. off or on if you need it to hold longer in gear if it don’t have it you will need to replace the modulator valve on the pass rear side of the trans that has the vacuum line going to it ...there should be a screw inside the modulator ...after you pull hose off to adjust it ..a little makes a big different there are two types push in held in by a clip and bolt or screw in the modulator screws into the case if you do remove it make sure not to lose the little rod witch is the valve they tend to come out when you don't see them
  13. do they do any tuning? would love to bring my car and see what it pulls and tune it some it may need the rear one size leaner .....how much time you get between pulls ??? will they have a sniffer on it to check rich or lean for the 65 bucks ???

Uncorked the 393w today had 2 ½ pipe to flowmasters 2 ½ over the rear ..took the rear drivers side tale pipe off found it was smashed flat only about 1 ¼ ID ….chuck (inline6) made me some 3inch exhaust and a 3” H pipe he and I ran it ..to new 3” flows then dumped it before the rear made a world of dif idle came up about 400 rpm …have some new chrome turn downs on the way ….now to pull it all off and get the car ready for the new trans http://mmb.maverick.to/images/smilies/smile.gif thanks again …chuck sound file http://www.fordmaverick.com/uploads/mav.wav http://mmb.maverick.to/attachment.php?attachmentid=14412 http://mmb.maverick.to/attachment.php?attachmentid=14411
