Bump to the top, remember all prices are OBO. For the display stands I would just like to see them gone. -
This is what I typically pay for/recommend for smaller house fires, to get rid of the smoke smell. Also tearing up the carpet, seal and painting the walls, and possibly sealing the subfloor should take care of it significantly. Also what type of heating and cooling systems does it have? Several filter changes and a good cleaning of the ducting can make the difference. I'm a property adjuster.

Custom Reptile Enclosure, Aquariums and Misc Stuff
datsunissan28 replied to datsunissan28's topic in Other Stuff
The 20 gallon had reptiles in it over 8 years ago, its been empty since. The 55 gallon with the hood has only had African Cichlids. The 55 gallon with the base last had fish and a turtles in it. The 55 gallon with the broken center support is obviously not safe for fillings as previously stated. I have never had problems converting back to use as an aquarium, but I can understand the concern of passing on diseases. -

I recently got rid of my storage unit and would like to clear out a few things I have. 1. Custom Reptile Enclosure This is a great piece that is furniture quality. The entire cage is either solid red oak or real red oak veneer. It is used, but is great condition. It would be perfect for a ground dwelling lizard. The background is Aqua Terra 3D background. The 4 built in thermometers will need new batteries (One may need to be replaced). This is a very large unit, but breaks down to five pieces for portability. It roughly measures five feet wide by two and half feet deep. The entire unit with all trim is around six and half feet tall. There is some minor damage to the crown moulding and that is shown in the pictures http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/4d8e7ca4.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/f9eaac58.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/48e74d57.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/731b91ca.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/65416743.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/d9069d80.jpghttp://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/c78b7f62.jpg Thermostats http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/f8c826c3.jpg Measuring point http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/c5ebee03.jpg Lighting http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/1514ee2e.jpg http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/510f2844.jpg Storage below http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/5010a27d.jpg Shelves for storage http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/44b5a244.jpg Damage to Crown Molding http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/469a7c57.jpg Size comparison: Next to 55 gallon with stand. http://i13.photobucket.com/albums/a278/datsunissan28/69d16079.jpg Asking Price of $600 OBO. Very addictive series if you have the time for it. Each book is longer than the entire hunger game series. I would classify it more as fantasy than sci-fi. The book for The Road is infinitely better than the movie. Though it is a bit depressing, I really enjoyed and it should match up with your genre better. Almost all of S.M. Stirling's recent series are really good. The three books in the Change series or Emberverse I are right up your alley. I'll be on the lookout for adding this to my library now.

People who own pitbulls are idiots, no matter how much you protect it or raise it, it can still kill you. People who own horses are idiots, no matter how much you protect it or raise it, it can still kill you. People who own [insert whatever potentially dangerous animal] are idiots, no matter how much you protect it or raise it, it can still kill you. As someone else said, should the goverment ban everything that could possibly harm you? -

I am a property adjuster for Nationwide Insurance - I do homeowner, commercial and farm claims. I have Nationwide for both auto and home personally as well. One thing I would look for homeowners is if they have their own claims adjusters. Some carriers basically just sell the insurance under their name, but don't handle any of the claims. Others use only third party adjusters they contract out that are paid just on how many claims they work on.
-
I wish Progressive would underwrite their own home owner policies as I'm licensed in almost every state for property claims.

Being able to complete them in time. If I remember correctly there was usually five different scenarios. Three of the five I was always able to finish fairly on pace. The fourth took more time and the last took way too much time. Of course they weren't in order of difficulty so the problem was determining which of the two difficult ones I could correctly answer in the time allowed and leaving the remaining time to make my best educated guess on the last. There were about 25 other people in the same room with me. There were two or three people always frantically trying to finish each section. I noticed for the logic section almost everyone was filling in the last few bubbles just to have a chance when time was called. The classes might go into better startegies of organizing the logic questions. Considering the limited time and the limited space (no scrap paper is allowed) organizing your thoughts is key. One small thing that bugged me was not being able to use mechanical pencils. I always use mechanical pencils and did so on the practice tests as well. I don't believe it affected my performance in any way, but I did find it annoying. Also I invested in a watch with a rotating bezel so it was easier to keep track of how much time was left.
-
I took the LSAT this past Spring. Take as many practice tests as you can under as close to real environment you can. A lot of it is getting your pacing down. You can have a watch during the test, but only analouge. I purchased two of the books that have 10 previous LSATs. I realistically only studied for about two weeks and scored around a 160-162 on the practice tests and then scored a 162 on the actual LSAT. The logic section tends to be only part where the time restraint really affected my performance and where I could have benefited from some extra prep. Some law schools don't even take the written portion into consideration and several people in the room during that portion just drew sketches or looked at the ceiling.

With Eastern Box Turtles it has been found that reintroduction has not been working. From what I've read and talked to about with ODRN wildlife is that its more of a laying/nesting problem than a mating problem if they are moved from one area to another. Also this is talking about moving them 50+ miles away, not just a mile down the road. Have you read any of the studies proposing box turtles in cental plains state are migratory?

Nationwide is supposed to be dropping all their auto rates by 10% in the next month or so. Also if you join the Ohio Farm Bureau, its another good percentage off all policies considering its around $45/year to join. For home owners make sure you're comparing the like to like. For the Nationwide Ohio policy its now mandatory that it includes ordinance and law coverage (covers code compliance issues) and matching (ex: if only one side of your old siding is damaged and you can no longer find a match, they'll pay extra to have a match made or for all the siding). Most all insurance carriers offer these, but most you have to pay additional premiums for.

That's hard to belive as pit bulls aren't recognized as a breed by the AKC. Perhaps by the CKC, but not the AKC.

Suspects posted on the news about the homeless man beating
datsunissan28 replied to Browning's topic in Dumpster
Yes this is the same case we were talking about earlier. My mother works for a church in Reynoldsburg he used to stop by at a lot. He had to have his jaw wired shut. Also she has talked with his parents before all of this (who live in Mansfield, so know he did not inherit a bunch of money like someone said here) and he never went over to Vietnam. He was diagnosed with schizophrenia at 16 and has always had an issue with living in confined spaces which is why he chooses to be homeless. -
I would have to agree that New Jersey is way worse than Ohio though. My girlfriend is from there and we probably drive up there every six weeks or so. I was up there two weeks ago and they had an unmarked Charger (all the lights are on the inside) with a for sale sign in the window with a price and phone number that had pulled someone over. Plus they're state highway patrol uniforms make them look like Nazis.

Is he going with a multiple monitor setup or just one large one?

That was the most frustrating part of my internship is that I would have to leave the computer to render overnight, just to find out the power went out, the program crashed or something else that would waste hours upon hours.
-
Revit has its own rendering software built in. I know autodesk was starting to use multiple core processors for its rendering at least. Revit is a pretty cool program you can run the lighting, natural and artificial, through an entire day for any day of the year and in location on earth. CAD is primarily 2D whereas the whole point of Autodesk Revit uses a ton of RAM, especially on larger structures like the ones you are showing. When I was using that software I had 8gigs and wish I could of had more. Where is he going to school for architecture? I went to OSU for construction management and just picked these programs up during internships and would have loved some more formal instruction on Revit. Also he might want to grab Studio 3Ds Max as more places in real life seem to use that as well. (Nevermind I see that Autodesk now owns that as well)
-
Look into what other architectural software he is using. I know autodesk revit and navisworks only use one processor (found this out after a company I worked for thought went out and bought an expensive quad core (2-3 years ago) and found out it only utilized one processor.

Thomas Glass Company 268-8611 They're in Westerville about two minutes off 270. They had the best prices for smaller pieces of 1/2" glass that I used for some of the cages I built. For the three pieces I needed recently they were $62 compared to $168+ at everywhere else. They were ready within 48 hours as well.
