Does the court have documentation with them to see I have no offenses ever? Will it help me at all if I mention that and that I made a true mistake? Do you guys think they'll give me any jail time?

Okay, so if you were in my position, what would you do? I don't have the money for a lawyer so it's all up to me. I want to know what you would do and what you think would have the least penalties (jail time/fines.)

Okay, so should I plead guilty or not? I am definately guilty of the charge but I was told by the court's clerk that I can't explain myself or the fact that I corrected the mistake unless I plead not guilty.

I was told I have to plead not guilty in order to show my title and everything, otherwise they'll decide on what the punishment is without me being able to talk. Sound right?

Yes, I had insurance on the vin number of my car I bought. I bought it legally I just left the tags from the last guy on the car because I'm a moron. Also, I have no negative background at all, I'm a safe driver and have no offenses. Would this help me a little?

Honestly I thought there was some 30 day grace period when it came to titles. I wasn't putting it off like I knew I had nothing. I've never recieved a ticket for anything before and have never been to court. If they wanted to put me in jail wouldnt the officer just have arrested me on the spot? Also, the officer wrote on the back of the ticket that he recomend it be dismissed as long as I got it registered by the court date. How often do they follow the officer's recomendatio?

About 2 weeks ago I recieved a ticket at 11pm for riding with illegal plates. I legitimatally bought the car from a private owner and he put on some old temp plates for me to drive with so I could atleast have something on there. I've been busy with work so I didn't have time to get plates on it. I had insurance when I was stopped and the officer found that the title of my car had been signed off but not notarized for me yet. The problem is that the plates on the car weren't to that car. I registered and got new plates for my car the very next morning of being stopped. I'm getting nervous about my hearing in court because the penalties can include jail time and up to $250 in fines. Knowing my story what do you guys think the outcome will be? This was Dublin City police btw in case it matters. Would they really send me to jail for a 4 point misdemeanor?

The ground wire should be a connection washer type thing coming off the engine harness near the tranny. If it's tightened too much the grounding support will snap and it won't start or get activity at all.

The way your diagram is drawn is the way my starter is setup. If you can't even hear it clicking then the starter may not even be the problem. Did you do the auto>5spd swap?

So I get new tires and wheels today. I got 17x7s and i think the tires are 205's. I'm riding on 315 and I hear a huge pop after I hit something that I didnt see so it mustve been small. i pull over and everything seems okay and the tires were still good. I saw some fluid leaking and was like "oh shit is that coolant?!" then i smelled it and realized it was windshield wiper fluid. All of it leaked out. Is there a reason I'm missing for this? My suspension is all stock right now but the springs are within a few milimeters of the front tires. Could this have something to do with that? I'm so confuzzled right now. The motor seems fine but something made the windshield wiper fluid leak? is there a pump for the windshield fluid that coulda fucked up? EDIT: So i got down and dirty and lifted the car and the front passenger wheel well cover is gone exposing the fluid resovoir. The hosing came off so that's where it leaked from. It looks like the connector to the pump/motor got hit and broke off. Oh well, I'll just remove it. lol

Do what you like or think looks good. If you think about it, people spend thousands of dollars because of how a car looks *cough mustangs and vettes*. Sure, they handle well and are fast but you can do that to your car too with the same money.

He doesn't really need to describe the 4 banger because it's been sold on here atleast 4 times. Hell, I was the owner 2 titles ago.
