  1. Chris, there are only a few classes for the Evo's to run in. If stock they are in "A Stock". If you have minor suspension, street tires, and engine bolt-ons that DON'T increase boost you could probably run in "STU". If your boost is turned up, or the BOV has been modified your are squarely in "SM" which allows slicks. Let me know your mods and I can tell you exactly where you will be. Ed, diesel fuel works great on asphalt and it's sealer, just don't get too much on your shoes as diesel eats everything!!
  2. Looks good Titus. I like the sticker but the bulk of the s2k owners are at least 45+ years old just like the vettes.
  3. This sunday is points event #5 at the Buckeye lot on Ackerman rd. As always it's open to everyone with a safe car and drivers license. Open registration has 30 spots for people to show up and register at the event, but these fill quickly and usually by 7-7:30am. If you don't want to have to be there that early get yourself registered on http://www.dlbracing.com and look for the "OVR" event on the calendar and register. Doing it this way you can show up as late as 8-8:30am. Just remember you need time to go through tech, walk the course, etc.....Any questions just ask. Let's hope it's not as hot as last weekend though!! :thumbdown
  4. Was there a yellow Evo there on SSR Comp wheels?? I know a guy in the car usually goes to that every year.
  5. I thought she looked a bit undersized. Either way I'm sure hungry kids are a strong driving force.
  6. He definitely had to earn that meal!!
  7. How to break into a DSM: Part 1: Follow said DSM and wait for it to break down. Part 2: Owner will likely leave car on side of road because they can't afford towing, pick up car with your own tow truck later on. Part 3: Profit.
  8. Wow, they had to cut the car in 2 to get it in there!! Interesting.
  9. Add to the fact that IMO Subaru fubar'd the front end of the next gen Impreza. Should be interesting to see if people take to a station wagon STi.
  10. Your gonna need it, I'm bringing the Laser!!!
  11. New to me, and pretty damn funny.
  12. All the more reason to come out and learn something.
  13. Hell, the cars can't be too slow as they don't weight anything since their made of plastic!!
  14. You definitely want the Hoosiers up front, that's where most of the work is done on a fwd car. You could always bring an electric blanket to put over the rear tires!!
  15. I saw an episode recently like this, no lengths, no jump, no BS all heads up run what you brung. That's the way it should be.
  16. Bone-Out Spicy BBQ wings own all.
  17. You like looking at things like that dont you Christian??
  18. I'm not sure why, but you don't see anywhere as many F-bodies as Mustangs.
  19. ^^Excellent!! Thanks for finding that as I had no luck getting any info on it. Not a ton of cars are expected so you should get about as many laps as you like in the autocross. It's a lot of fun and I've seen the GTO's doing it and they do quite well.
  20. At 16 I drove my corsica through a 2 foot deep puddle at 25mph and wondered why it wouldn't start back up!!
  21. I hear the Mustangs skeered them off!!
