  1. I'm going to stop in the shop today and get myself reaquainted with the new model bikes and technology. Last time I owned one disc brakes only came on bikes far better than my Gary Fisher, now the Wal-mart bikes have rapid fire, disc brakes, and full suspension!!
  2. LOL! I did the same before as well, and I did the first couple days on my Pathfinder. Now I just drive normally and get the slightly better mileage.
  3. Welcome. I've seen your car around somewhere, just can't remember where.

    Anyone?

I know who you are, I've met and talked to you a few times and my knowledge of 7's is nowhere near yours. I thought the FD's were available as non-turbo's.
  5. No. Gotta learn to return phone calls first.
  6. Dr. Apex

    Anyone?

It's a turbo, I rode in it once before though I believe the motor is all stock.
  7. They can typically because shitty paper filters actually impede air flow and stock air boxes are designed in mind with water tightness. K&N makes the claims for a reason, they work. My old civic saw 3-4mpg better with an intake and exhaust as long as I drove the car normally.
  8. Not at all, I found some amazing 4x4 trails that I would bike up that had some creeks, logs, and rock sections that were tough as hell and the view up on the mountain was unreal. Should by chance my car sell soon(someone is looking at it now) I'll be heading over to A Gear Higher to look at bikes, I've been wanting again for a while.
  9. I need another Gary Fisher, I rode like mad when I was in Hawaii. You want to see some great trails and scenery.........
  10. I've noticed about 3mpg from my cone filter on my Pathfinder and some welcome ponies, these days of $3+ a gallon it could pay itself off before too long.
  11. I keep mine to a moderate level in public as I typically don't want to share my conversations with the world. Lustabert is right, Nextel quality is the worst in the market. I get at least 1-2 dropped calls a week and the 2 way function doesn't always work or the clarity is less than that of the 2 cans on a rope.
  12. It's a mid-engine car, don't lift off the throttle in the corner. Instead brake fully before the corner, then mash the throttle, you'll rocket out of every corner and nearly lap the field by the end of the race.
  13. I ran all last season at autocross and daily driving my Laser and all I had to fix was the ecu, though my Laser is n/a and doesn't make enough power to break anything!!
  14. You can't beat us, so just do yourself a favor and join us!!! :finger:
  15. He had talked about doing that a while back, that little car was decently quick with just the v6.
  16. Amen. I followed along online a guy road racing a Laser. He had just gotten about a $10k motor together and first time out a $.25 grommet failed and drained all the coolant from the motor, he would of caught it normally but this happened while it was raining and didn't know he was out of coolant until the temp gauge told him!!! Pat, check over the car really good before you buy it. I've seen some great running cars go for cheap and some not so great running for too much money.
  17. Agreed. I've felt like that with the DSM's. Why have 2 of the same damn car?? The 1st gens may not have had the racing heritage but they made their impact on the street. Didn't a couple of the early Gran Turismo's have the SVX??

    Forza 2

The A.I is wierd, sometimes their passive, other times they don't move off their line for anything. The rear ending thing is just stupid, there's no reason for it. In real racing drivers can ride 2 feet behind another car without rear ending them, can't be that hard to program these cars to not rear end you from 100ft behind you. Just remember, the A.I. car have traction control, stability, and abs all on and trying to push them almost never works and you'll lose most any battle when contact is made.
  19. I've had 3 dsm's. They're as reliable as their owners like any other car. Be wary of the timing belt if he's done it himself, too many cheap bastards own these cars and don't do things right. More importantly, what year is the car?? If it's a 93 it most likely a 7 bolt motor and they can make power but just aren't worth the investment. If your not sure, get the exact manufacter date on the door sill and we can find out for sure if it's a 6 or 7 bolt. Despite what people say they can be reliable cars and make decent power.
  20. I miss Passen as well, they were good to me and it's where I first got to meet people in the scene.

    Forza 2

Holy shit, you can swap the LS7 in the Solstice and it still lets you add on more mods. Mine is maxed out at 987whp!!!! No traction until 100mph in 4th gear, what a fun ass car.
  22. This is an event I've wanted to make, maybe getting a chance to see Shepherd's car or Buschur's going down the track would be great.
  23. I'd prefer the E30 in it's stock form, but that's a Z3 I would own.
  24. I met Dustin and Dado at Nopi in Atlanta, they seemed nice but were obviously completely worn out from partying likely. Assault has been out for a while, I picked it up a couple months ago. I believe that's video #5 now, I have all of them and like watching them.
