I won't be unfirm so I wouldn't hold my breath at all. When it fades it goes completely out, then it comes back in usually in a couple seconds. I don't understand why it does it and it doesn't affect anything else, volume still works fine, you just can't see the number of volume your at.

Why don't you do 5 laps on 270 instead?......I wish I could afford to drive all over the place..... I'll swing into QSL around 10ish.

I'm selling my Kenwood Mini Surround sound system as I don't use it anymore. It works great and all the speakers sound good, the only thing wrong with it is the display has a tendancy to fade in and out on occasion but it doesn't affect anything. It'sthe HTB-205 model. It has 4 satellite cubes, 1 center channel, and 1 8" 100 watt subwoofer. The system has 600 watts total. It has Dolby Digital, DTS, and Pro Logic 2, and a 24-bit converter. Your seat doesn't neccessarily have to be FIA certified. The key to it is having the seat mounted properly, bolted to a rear roll bar(if you have it) and to the floor. In most racing series if it's mounted properly it will be legal to run. Your best bet would be to consult with a race shop that is current with SCCA and NASA rules. "Bender Race Cars" is where I got my seat and had it installed, he's maybe not the cheapest but he does great work and won't lead you wrong. Mine is a "Butler Racing" seat, basically an aluminum bucket like a Kirkey but IMO a far better built seat. I had to have it custom made because of my torso height is much taller than most people and my shoulders were about 4in above normal seat belt holes. It took some time to have it made but man was it worth it, though it's an aluminum seat and it's comfort is limited.
