  1. Looks good man, what size/brand?? Ray is considering some new wheels but were having a hard time figuring the right offset and what wheels will work.
  2. Matt, Corbeau seats and most like them will not be FIA approved. My aluminum seat is not FIA approved either, the only ones you will typically find like that are "Cobra" seats and the like. My understanding when I looked into a seat is the FIA cannot approve a metal framed style seat like ones that come in most street cars as they are designed to work differently in a crash than race type seat. So, just because they aren't FIA approved doesn't mean they aren't safe, unless your going for a type of legit racing that requires this type of seat.
  3. "In" isn't the word. It sits on the trunk lid.
  4. Also if your not sure most seat manufacturers have sizes posted online, so just go to a race shop that knows how to measure you so you can know what seats will work for you. Obviously that route doesn't tell you how comfy they really are and wether they will still fit you right.....just food for thought.
  5. Their not ideal cars because of their size, if yours is one of the ones that you can shift manually then that helps a ton. It's fun no matter what kind of car you do it in.
  6. Though it's not the view most people are used to seeing from trails. That's Amy holding on for dear life with me.......at least she didn't manage to scream!! We struggled with traction today as we realized one tire is about to expose it's cords, they are completely done and thus I got 2nd place to my roommate by .06 secs and we were beaten by cars that are normally slower.
  7. A guy in my autocross class just did this recently, he said it was a ton of fun and well worth it. Def. just use their car, no need to abuse yours.
  8. Yeah, I've been bugging the one STi driver for a ride along as he's a far better driver than I am. 2 weeks until the next event, I'll call you and make sure you get up on time.....unlike today!!
  9. Besides, this isn't "Columbus Street Racing".com either, "Racing" is a very broad term.
  10. The course was simple and I don't think anyone got lost on it at all. 2 hairpins that owned a lot of people only because there was a surface change in the 1st hairpin and the 2nd one was very bumpy. Glad you had a good time Amy, just wait till next week when we have new tires on that aren't worn to the cords, we couldn't get traction today.
  11. Very true. We have a 1 month gap between events later in the summer so hopefully NEOhio will have an event during that time, might be worth the trip up there.
  12. It's too bad none of you northern boys won't try some real racing, I'd be glad to beat some ass with my torqueless honda.
  13. LMAO!! I've met Kyle a few times, nice guy.
  14. It's going to be a damn nice day tomorrow, though chilly in the morning, see everyone there!!

    sat. night??

Camping at QSL?? I saw you there.
  17. You could do something like this, but I would keep the speed down and be very wary of the other drivers. If you want to do something with an instructor, NASA's HPDE program is the best way to go.

    friday night 5/11

Typical evening at Hooters on Main st......."People show up......people eat, hang out, talk......some dumbass in a slow car squeals his Sams Club tires......Cop makes everyone leave.....end story!! BTW, that all takes place within an hour or so usually. Rich the Lube guy walked through last time up there at the Lube, he didn't seem to mind. That is until a dumbass in a shitty car shows up and does a burnout in the parking lot.
  21. Heh, I have the VG30 3.0, it would be too damn easy to bolt on a twin turbo kit not that I will need it on your V8 Jeep that might be rated for 30-40 more horse than my V6!!! :finger:
  22. 2nd one looks like Anthony?? Times??
  23. Plenty of room, some people took some nice shots from on top of the stands last year and made for some great pics.
