  1. It's $30 for non-scca members. It's best you sign up online at http://www.dlbracing.com If you can't sign up online they are allowing only 30 on-site registrations on either friday evening from 6-9pm or saturday morning until 8:30am, they will cut it off at 30 registrants. Sign up will be at the Buckeye lot at 315 and Ackerman rd.
  2. You would need to be there by 7:30-8am. Racing goes until it's done, usually around 3-5pm. If you need to leave early we can talk with Andy and he will probably let you run early so that you could be out in time, their usually more than willing to work with you on stuff like that. They have helmets available, I also bring a spare. If you have your own make sure it's Snell certified. The cost issue I have a question about myself, as soon as I have an awnser I will let you know, it should be $35. Jacob, sounds good. You did good last time, you kept your patience and stayed smooth, thats key in autocross. Thorne: Your fine as long as it's bolted down good. Joe: Hope to see you out there, if not this weekend there's still 5 more events I believe. Matt, you know where to find us then.
  3. Well this one person seems to be relaying their callouts so I figured it was worth a shot. I did get a pm about it. They have autocross up there, so someone must have a clue as to what it is.

    Sneek peek!

Holy crap!! You have a huge fuel leak on the top of the motor!! Nice looking motor.
  5. You wanted a race from a columbus car, you got it. Sunday August 13th I will be at the local autocross at GM up there. Let's see if any of you can drive! I know you can't be afraid of an n/a dsm can you??
  6. There's autocross going on on both days this weekend, the 29/30 at the Buckeye lot at Ackerman rd and 315. Saturday is a regular event that anyone can go to. Sunday will be no on-site registration and only 3 laps, then it gets into the Governers Cup run-off portion which is for SCCA members only. I will be out there both days, saturday would be the better day to come as hopefully there will be more laps run and everyone can participate. if you want to come out and race and need help just let me know. Also I don't mind taking passengers on my runs so anyone is welcome to ride along. :burn:
  7. The driver of the "pos z06" is Tom. He mostly road races that vette, he sold his Talon a while back. His brother has the blacked out 240 that you might of seen at autocross last year. They were asked not to come back because they were "power sliding" on too many corners.
  8. That was funny when that guy did that!! Squealed them right in front of that cop!!
  9. Nevermind, found the number to Eagle and Mad hatter. Doh!!
  10. I need some exhaust work done, I know theres been a shop talked about on here that will do race exhausts, i.e. no cat. Anyone know the name of the shop?? I couldnt find any threads on it.
  11. Who knows, the chopper pilot talked about being over 130 with the truck. Here's an article with some info... http://news.yahoo.com/s/kprc/20060721/lo_kprc/9557706

    Friday the 21st

I live 5 mins from the Thrift Store, no rain up here at all. I think I'm gonna try it around 10:30.
  13. Showcar sandrail is more like it. Sweet looking though.
  14. Sweet video. I like the old school Prodigy song on there.

Thrift Store is where it's at now.
  16. Anyone else see that police chase live on tv today? Some guy in Houston supposedly robbed some place then took off from the cops in a 90 something white Silverado. He's hauling ass through neighbors, backyards, jumps some train tracks, wrong way down half the roads, 130+ on the highway, jumps through a sand trap on a golf course. They finally get some spikes under his front tires and he loses it into a creek. Last I saw he was refusing to get out of the truck. Anyone else see this??
  17. The Nelson fun days are not for beginners for sure. As stated there is little instruction and pretty much a free for all, it's simply a fun day, and not a track school. Though I'm sure they offer something of the sort.
  18. Nelson Ledges has an open fun day once a month and it's only $120 per person. http://www.nelsonledges.com It's an old course that about 3hrs from here, but its a very fast course for its size. I'll be going to the fun day in September with a couple friends.
  19. I thought it was funny the thread starter mysteriously doesnt even come up with a pic of a hot chick in his own thread
  20. That's a pretty broad question, you wanting to road race I assume? Just looking for some hot lapping or time trialing?? http://www.midohio.com is their site NASA and SCCA have some nice programs that aren't very expensive to learn how to road race, you can at least get some track time with an instructor if thats what all looking for.
  21. I say take the paint off, its just extra weight on the car!!
  22. I hibernated in the a/c all day, but if I had know Shepherd was going to be there I would of come.
  23. Don't worry about being competitive, just come out to have fun.
  24. Well there's 2 of them on there and set to nowhere near max boost at all. Propane would be sweet.
  25. Brake boosting a motor with that much torque = lots of broken drivetrain parts probably.
