The course over this past sunday was fast as hell!! I was all over my rev limiter in 2nd gear and I know of some cars using 3rd in the one middle strech. I don't have the power I used to so I would prefer a smaller more technical course but it's fun to be going that fast on the course.

If your car is completely stock you will be in F-stock. Depending on mods other likely classes for you are E Street Prepared, or Street Modified maybe.

Like most anyone that tries this sport, you get hooked on it easily and can't get enough! You will get faster as you get more seat time in so keep on coming out there.

I have a spare helmet I let passengers and friends use, prolly little better than their helmets and it will probably fit you as it fits my big head. Megaman: I think you gave me the thumbs-up for that nice spin didnt you? I couldn't remember which lap it was on. What are you getting for an autox car?? Let's hope for the dry next event as I enjoy running on my slicks a lot more, though I enjoy the challenge of driving in the rain.

Damn good job today Craig. I had fun despite the rain during my heat. I got 1st place in my class and the rain by the 2-3 lap assured me my win as neither the crx or I could come close to our first laps time. I was really impressed the slicks held on well until the course got really covered in water, then I couldn't hardly even steer. Next event is in 2 weeks at the Ackerman lot.

Same here, I'm off today from the rain. Thankfully this week I was able to get in 40 before today, but next week doesn't look good.

Doesn't matter if your car is stock, they have stock classes. As long as your car doesn't leak anything, battery is tied down, everything is in good running order you can race. It's $35 for you. Basically just show up at 7am sunday, you have to register, get tech'd in, and a few other things. Come find me when you get there, I can show you the ropes. Chief, you have street tires don't you?? I guess I don't blame you, some people really don't like running in the rain, though it's supposed to be off and on. I'll be there.

Only Z car I remember seeing there was brownish, but I may of just entirely missed you. Were you racing?

Man you know how to pick the weekends to come out!! We will be racing, we don't back down because of a little rain. I'll be there hoping it stays dry so I can run on the slicks.

My understanding was they would be running this event like the Governer's cup which is class eliminations. It doesn't seem they will be running this event this way so we should see 3-5 runs. Previously being in SM with a street tired car I wasn't competitive and never paid attention to how these particular events were run so it's a little new to me even.

I've had my issues as well, but the Evo's are different. The guy I bought my Laser off of has an 03 with almost 25k on the odometer, only thing to fix was the clutch at 12k. The car has been autox'd to hell, road raced, and daily driven for every mile on the odometer. Sounds pretty damn good to me. I'm sure the Altima is a much more comfortable car and better on gas, insurance and whatnot, and hell it even looks damn good, but not my cup of tea.

Good looking car, but for about the same money there's better 4 door's out there, like the Evo!!
