Whoops....I know the GT350's had some close calls on photo, don't know if they had any wrecks but its not surprising on this track.

The rear tires look enormous!! I kinda like the rear wing, still ugly overall but respect for what the package is. I do agree they should focus on reducing weight to improve the performance, look at the new Miata.

Some of these are just hilarious, I knew when I bought my 1st Mustang I'd have to have a pretty thick skin.

S2000. Yes it's a lot like the BRZ but you can make more power and you have that Honda reliability you mentioned. The chassis is second to none in my opinion, that car is absolute bliss to drive at the limit.
My buddy and I thoroughly abused his with a 2-driver season of autocross and he did numerous HPDE's with it, it never faltered once.

In today's world I can't see a torqueless wonder that eats oil and probably gets 20 hwy MPG succeeding against the vast array of sports cars out there with traditional, torquey motors that are more fuel efficient than ever.
I hope they build it but this is why I think it won't work. Even my Fiesta with it's little 1.6 made over 200lb/ft and I averaged 31.5mpg in the city with it.

Same here, but the more I look into it, the more I get frustrated. It seems like the cost to further my education is more than i'd likely gain with that extra piece of paper. I'm stuck between a rock and a hard place, because I'm topped out where I am now with nowhere to go unless I get that paper, but if I get that paper I'd likely move up in rank but with less pay. Sure there is potential there, but being 40 years old, is it worth the pay cut now and hope the potential is there later?
Exactly my feeling being 37 now. However, as I look around if I combine that piece of paper with my experience I should have no problem making the money I want to.

You don't learn much of value in college. I think you prove you are able to learn, to a Dilbert, that you're just as able to Dilbert.
This. It has frustrated me numerous times losing out to someone else whom is a complete fucking moron for a position simply because of the piece of paper.
Been wondering about this same thing myself, weighing my options and trying to figure out what the hell I want to do.

The engraving that read "you're fucked" on the side of his personal AR15. Is that the engraving you are referencing? The one that was in the rifle when the Mesa police approved the weapon for duty? The one that I'm sure all his buddies in the pct thought was funny until the moment where he actually murders someone? The one that the prosecutors office and the victims attorney is going to use against him in court to show a callous disregard for human life? Just checking.
They needed to fire him so he could be charged without the Mesa pd having to take responsibility once the murder charge hit and to give him a fighting chance in court. But if you think it is unrelated, you are just kidding yourself.
I never said they were unrelated, I haven't followed this case that closely but did notice the linked article didn't mention the reason for the firing which is why I mentioned it. I'm well aware of the politics that go on in anything like a police department.
-
The media here has been pounding this to death and trying desperately to get the body cam footage released. It seems as though the former officer is probably going to end up in prison from what's being said of the cam footage.
Keep in mind the officer was not fired because of this, he was fired over a personal engraving on his rifle which apparently was not allowed by the department.

The new Vipers give me a serious chub
Same. Always liked Vipers and seeing this makes me want to do whatever it takes to cobble together the cash for a new ACR.
Both of those cars are friggin fast.

The side profile says Sky/Solstice, not a big fan of it but looking at it from the rear it's sharp. Would love to see a coupe still but it won't matter as I can't fit in these things at all.

I'll take 2!

I wouldn't consider Cali for that little amount of money. While I've never lived I've been there many times and as mentioned, the cost of everything is just insane.
A big reason I chose Arizona is the good weather, cost of living is virtually the same as Ohio, and none of that Cali style BS. It helped immensely that my employer at the time was already based in Phoenix.
Your head is clearly in the right place, continue to be patient and you'll find what you're looking for eventually.

I was wandering my Ford lot recently while getting an oil change browsing F-150's, cheapest one I found was $34k, no less than 10 of them on the lot for over $60k......unreal.
-
I priced out a 2SS at $54k and left a handful of items on the table still.....Can't imagine a loaded 1LE or still yet a ZL1.
They do offer some nice individual options that Ford only gives in their big packages.
-
I agree. But our opinions are wrong since the others like it.....
Pretty much, it's the internet. Someone could post a whole hate thread about the Mustang and I wouldn't car one bit. I've felt the way I do about the newer Camaro since it debuted, when I was driving a Pathfinder.
In the second video (No load) the exhaust does sound bad.. Under load (Track ) it sounds awesome.Love seeing the muscle cars really return with a vengeance (Live rear ends/ forced induction/CF/specialized alloys/ Racing seats/ etc.)
I will concede the car clearly sounds better in the 2nd video posted, sometimes it's just the camera or youtube.
-
Ahh the internet and subjectivity. I don't like the sound of it, period.
You could have shown me that video without ever telling me what car it was, wouldn't have mattered. Yes the car will eat mine for lunch on a track, but it still sounds terrible. Maybe it's just the video and YouTube's famous sound quality, who knows......
-
auto lol
This, and it sounds like shit.
-
Very nice! I'm planning on the bushing inserts, lockout kit, some better shocks and sways to start out.
-
Good luck on the move! Since moving to Arizona I've enjoyed every second and haven't looked back!!
-
I've been wondering if they were still going to have the school at Miller or not, I know the track was for sale and Ford's use of it was in question.
-
Man I wish you were closer to me, damn nice work.
