Fuck, with all this damn rain the mountain is ruined for a while, I may consider midnight madness but I doubt it won't be anything but a sheet of ice.

I hope they will still have the cheap lapping days at Nelson with the new ownership now, but it will be kind of nice to see the facility really fixed up.

^I simply meant if you go off-track and introduce yourself to a tire wall, cheaper to fix an older car like a mustang than a Vette. No denying how fast the vettes are on the track, I watched an inexperienced driver though in one get a final warning after going off for the 2nd time in a weekend.

If someone really wants your stuff they're going to get it. IMO for cost a Charley Bar, Dowel rods, and a dog can be the most effective.

I would start with a slower cheaper car and learn to race first, odds are at some point you will end up off the track and you don't want to do it in a Z06. Plus the cost of racing and maintaning a racecar is really expensive. Keep it cheap and learn to drive first, it will pay huge dividends in the long run when switching to a faster car.

I was planning on going to Mad River saturday for some snowboarding with a friend, he can't go and I wanted to see if anyone was interested in going with?? I have to stop at Aspen on the way to pick up a board and some gear but I planned on midday-ish.

^Heh, kind of a good point. I'd hope they would cover more grassroots type racing with NASA and SCCA and other orgainzations, hell even some amateur drag racing could be interesting.

Most of the Alpine decks have a good Ipod interface that can control the Ipod from the deck so you can hide it, though I'm sure other decks can do this as well.

A lot of the vehicles need to be trailered out for various reasons, even though my buddies car would run they wouldn't let him drive it out so plan to tow or tailer it possibly.

Wow!! I didn't realize CR was full of Tornado Chasing experts!! Who knew?? I guess I'm one of the only ones that enjoys this show.

Some of the vehicles aren't bad at all, my buddy got his Talon there it made it into a great budget racer.

Check the ORC about tires, wether the tire says "DOT" or not that doesn't make them legal for the road.

I thought I would remind everyone to be extra careful around the holidays with their belongings. Last night I had a customer try to pass off a stolen check to me for almost $500 worth of stuff. Also I ran off someone eyeing inside my truck looking for freebies, and then someone had their car broken into at the gym today just a couple stalls away from me, the woman had left her purse on the seat!! Also it was this time last year when my dads house was robbed in broad daylight!! It's not just the season for giving, it's the season for taking so be careful!!

I like the car, body kit is actually tasteful and the gadgets would be better if they weren't mac crap.
