  1. Yep, just driving through Cleveland, or walking around University Circle doesn't provide nearly enough information to asses the entire city as a whole. Some of the great spots include: The Warehouse District; Tremont; Little Italy; Coventry; Lakewood; Avon Lake (recently); W 25th. I am sure that I am leaving some out. It's not too bad once you give it a chance.
  2. I don't know really, I've always wanted to say that . Again my appologies for the misunderstanding. To get back onto topic. BuSchur is a great tuner, and a great person to boot. His best quality is his honesty. Everyone that works there are very personable and are always willing to help. I am also really interested to know what would make someone hate David and what he does. I have met up with him and his brother at dragway 42 a few times, and he went out of his way to help me with my EMS on at least two of the occasions that I really needed assistance. David is an innovator and is one of, if not the main reasons why Evo's and DSM's have been so successful in the United States.
  3. Sorry, you can stop E-Yelling at me now. I was wrong. Take some deep breaths and relax.
  4. The motor has not changed from last year.
  5. I was wrong, it is a 2.25. If you don't believe me- http://www.buschurracing.com/racing-evors.htm
  6. The black car that put 926 to the wheels is a 2.3. I can't remember what the shop car made.
  7. Here are a couple of good facts. The car isn't fully tuned, and the turbo didn't even see full boost yet.
  8. Yes, and this was all at what, 35psi? Which means that turbo isn't even close to being in its power band yet. So give it another 15 psi, and then see where you are at. The world is full of haters.
  9. Well, if you are interested let me know. This is a great turbo for the price. Yeah, you can get a 60-1 from turbonetics, but I know that the 60-1 is crap compared to the ITS T-61. So, $550 for a new turbonetics 60-1, or $600 for a slightly used $1000 dollar T-61. I think that the better turbo is worth the extra fifty bucks you can throw down. The turbo has 3000 miles on it.
  10. This is an Innovative Turbo Systems turbocharger. It comes with an S cover, .63 A/R exhaust housing, a stage five turbine wheel, and a 360 degree thrust bearing. The turbo uses a T-3 exhaust, so it will fit all of the aftermarket headers and manifolds that support a turbo like a GT35R. This was on my Evo for about three months, before I put the car away for the winter. It is a great turbo and makes power similar to the GT35R for a fraction of the price. On Buschur's Mustang dyno, I made 475awhp. The reason that I am selling it, is because I am ready for a larger turbo. This has minimal shaft play, if any at all. I am looking to get $600 for it or best offer. Please PM me if you are interested. I am very flexible as far as the price is concerned. I will even drive it to Columbus. 11. This might actually be the best way to do it. A standing mile, and a crapload of witnesses.
  12. You get ricers everywhere you go. So it would be impossible to stop them from showing up. I bet that none of the guys you saw post on this board. The thing that I don't understand is condoning it for one group of people and not the other. Just because they have corvettes doesn't make it cool to do 50 in a parking lot and then rip it down the street. Don't you think that this would equally attract the cops. If you don't want the negative attention (police), then you should be as low key as possible, including the 600hp cars, especially the 600hp cars.
  13. Well, if it is a necessity in order to buy the house, then do it. If you just want to sell the thing to sell it, then just think about all of the work that you did (assuming that you did all of the work) in order to get that thing where it is today. Not to mention it is probably famous throughout the nation, considering the numbers. That in itself will make it easy for you to sell.

You would have been better off letting him think he was better than you.
  15. I will give some serious props to any Sti that makes 600whp, because it is an unreal task that will cost tens of thousands of dollars. Also, because of how much time and effort goes into modding a Subaru. Now, after reading this rediculous thread (amongst all of the others). Here is what it comes down to, power to weight. Just because a car makes more horsepower doesn't necessarily mean that it will be faster. For example, a 500 whp 2000 lb colt would molest a 600 whp 3500 lb Subaru. The heavier car needs more power to compensate for the amount of weight it's pulling. If gravity wasn't such a factor in this discussion, then you could say that the Subaru could have destroyed him because he made more power to the wheels. Also, unless both cars were dynoed on the same dynamometer, under the same conditions, then the actual amount horsepower is a very loose term to use. For instance, take that same STi, and go to Buschur in Wakeman. Ask him to do a pull on his dyno, and I guarantee that that same 600whp car will put down numbers in the upper 400 to lower 500whp range. So, a dyno is more of a device used for tuning than anything else. The only way to measure the actuall horsepower is to dyno the car stock, and then dyno it after the upgrades (under similar conditions). After you do that, you just add the hp gain to your stock number. But who really gives a shit anyway
  16. Yeah that was some serious bullshit, not that the Jaguars are bad, but the Colt's game was a little more important.
  17. Wow that guy has some awesome selling abilities.
  18. Hey, if a gt42 gets slammed into my car, I might be fast enough to be the camera man!
  19. I understand wanting to rest your starters, but to take them out of their groove. I don't know.
  20. I seem to recall someone being run down by a car in Pistburgh for being a Browns fan. I can't exactly remember what game, but I think it was the Sunday night game 2 years back. The best game Tim Couch ever played. I think the guy was killed. How many Browns fans have murdered Steelers fans in the past decade. Generalizations are comments of the ignorant. Every professional sports team has their fair share of assholes. Beer + Die hard fan = anything can happen. The game so far is kind of lame on the Steelers part, but they have shaken up Manning from time to time. He has done a pretty good job of exposing the Steelers' secondary. I would hope that Dungy keeps the team playing instead of resting some. I am a firm believer that resting ruins a teams rythm.
