its never been to a drift event or beaten on , its main purpose was to get into road racing/autox this year but I seem to work on the days they have track days ect next year I promised myself im going to get back into coming out alot more and giving back to columbus racing more, The car seems like it would be well suited for a fun drag/street set up so thats the route im going to take it. Back in 2002-2003 I use to come out alot when I had a flexable job and knew more guys into racing. Thats how I found out about columbus racing from linn trying to race me at the thrift store when I was just talking to the columbus dsm'ers about cars.

it really has a purpose my car was corner balanced and everything was set for a purpose not just for a slammed jdm cool look.

ive owned and modded lots of sr20's without being re sleeved and fixing the rocker arm issues they really do not make stupid amounts of power. an sr20 reminds me of a stock boosted honda motor with the alum block and head design and oiling design. if you go sr20 make sure its right wheel drive.

Just as spoolin 1g said, you find one that has not been beat on by every 16 year old kid, they are still out there, I had a modded dsm that I bought bone stock and did the typical bolt ons cams and big turbo deal drove it for 4 years daily and never broke on me one time .

Ever been in a well put together dsm? done right the cars are hard to beat in any standpoint. the 4g63 engine is well defined in every aspect and can take crazy amounts of boost and abuse, and parts are dirt cheap. So many people have worked or know these engines and cars really well, the help is endless, I mean there are guys on columbus dsm that have dipped into the 12's on stock turbo cars, id just keep your options open if your trying to go fast.

350 for turbo cars is really nothing speical anymore with how advanced turbo's have become, so your goal is very easy even on stock blocked turbo car. You want somthing cheap and go fast any early 90's turbo import or domestic.

come on out of all the civics I see running around with huge fart cans, I know someone has to know where a stock exhaust is...........
