full race make top notch manifolds, I just ordered a fullrace top mount for my rb25. also try looking into some Precision turbos and intercoolers, you can peice yourself a very very nice turbo kit for way less then 5k.

turbo hands down, you can always have room to grow also, supercharger kits for 4 clys are not worth it imop. almost 5k and not even 300hp , id go turbo if it was my car, but its all on you.

my dads 04 volvo gets around 7-8 miles per gallon on highway loaded. somtimes worse or better depending on the wind ect. he never gets huge heavy loads so the guys that are like 35k-40k lbs im sure are hurting. I take that back its 6 per mile when loaded. and he has dual 120 tanks 240 @4 gallon almost 1k everytime. so he has to fill up about every 1000 give or take, miles due to stop and go traffic ect.

I just talked to my dad, and he said he would go on strike if it looks to be oganized, he said fuel in california is over 4$ which is always higher anyways, it now cost him 1k to fill his tanks he said.

sorry to hear about your issues, but buying used motors never get warrentys, and would never hold up in any type of court. The problem is when the motor was sold to you did it have 0 miles? For all he might not even have known about this and, really thought he did a perfect rebuild, your going to have to talk it out with the guy who built it, but somthing that far out of spec is really crazy. Now is he going to give your money back? and take a engine that needs rebuilt. even buying engines from a place with warrentys is very sketchy, But be prepaired to rebuild this engine with your money. I have seen this happen 2 times before.

my dad is an independent truck driver and I know right now its very hard for him, he owns his own truck and flatbed, but subcontracts from landstar, he always said the winter times are always slow, but not as slow as the past years have been, not only the fuel prices , the econ has gone to shit, he was telling me, while searching for loads 500 mile rad of columbus ohio, there would be at any given time around 500-700 loads, for the last 12 months only 20-30 loads at a time, which is horrible for him because the prices per mile are sometimes the same as 3 years ago when the prices of fuel were in the 2$ range. he said the only good loads are running from the westcoast to FL areas now.

no the paint was stored in a finished basement, that never gets below 75, I made the mistake of leaving out paint in the garage a few years ago. this batch was 64oz and there is about 32oz left when mix will make 64oz to spray, I would like 60 bucks for this. I have this ready at my house to be picked up.

they are not cheap, looking on ebay all the motor and tranny sets are 2400 -6k depending on the model and year. looks as it need custom hansport mounts and wiring, its not cheap by any means.

that white car black rim combo on the vette is really easy on the eyes.

yes its still good, it was mix last summer and stored inside. I will find out how much is left here in a few hours.

damn very sorry, I ended up selling this to a local person. I have some more of the same exact paint, im going to go get it out of storage right now. I will let you know.

I am not sure if you changed the "cas" on the car, but that looks to be a series 1 motor. I have the same exact motor in my car. the silver cas cover is S1 black plastic is s2, really does not make a difference, but someone might ask you about it. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/rb25det.gif good luck on the sale, I told my friend about it, but at the time does not have the money and does not want to take out a loan on such an old car, looks as it was built very very well, and someone should be getting a very nice car.

yeah I was very impressed with the videos I see on the motors, running 12.7 and trapping 107 for a Na 4 banger is awsome, and the thing is 100% dependble and gets great gas milage im sure also, would kick ass for a little daily driver.
