  1. I was just going through youtube and checking out the video, came across this video where a guy swapped a k20 into a 92 hatch, with bolt on mods and a tune the car ran a 12.8 @107, are these common numbers with the swap, if so that is very very impressive. the video is under the search as "Top Setup 92 Civic EG K20 Engine Swap " what are the power output of these motors, im sure some honda guys in here know.
  2. hahah that video was funny, man that poor car really did take some abuse.
  3. I went one time, and had a blast, it was my first time at any strip club type place, went with a couple of friends, I ended up bringin in 2 12 packs with our group and had another case out in the car, I ended up making a bit of money selling to alot of the guys that either ran out of beer or did not bring any. people get desperate when they are tipsy and run out of beer and its late.
  4. sorry for the offtopic, by the way not to be nosey, but how much does it cost to powder coat 4 wheels like that?
  5. adjustables do cost a bit, but they are so nice to have and worth it imop. BTW did you ever get your night train?
  6. I know, thats what I mean its hard to be orginal, never did I say I had rare rims, but I have yet to see anyone around here with chrome cst's, im sure there are tons of them on zilvia. either way I do not build my cars upon the rims, seriously how wide and low of an offset can someone go, to the point where rolling and pulling the fenders are not enough? then having to slap some shitty ass frp crap onto a car , or stretching the shit out of the tires , pretty much making a non practial car. I guess its all into what you like to do. I wish I could afford some rims as nice as yours , would be nice , but rims are not on my top list. maybe down the road when I figure out the new color of my car, I can step back and take my time in finding a nice set of wheels. BTW is that your ka in the sig? are you located in columbus? id like to see your car, rims and engine in person sometime, I will be visiting my friends peter and loun this week, if any of the days are nice enough you can take your car out so I can check it out, not too many built ka's around columbus area that ive seen.
  7. im not rolling on nothing nice just a set of work emo xd9's,which I know alot of people have, I know they are nothing crazy 3 peice ect, they have decent size and offset for what I wanted at the time. but I bought them when I went back japan for a very good price at a local store in gushikawa near the upgarage on 58. I also have a spare set of cst's which I bought at the same place, the work are decent for how cheap they are in cost. maybe later on down the road, I am able to pick up somthing more better in design, after I change the color of my car for the 3rd time. And for the orgin parts I was very dissapoined, he brought the parts to my house, I could not believe how shitty the build quality of the orgin fenders were. I know body kits need fitting and a little work, but I am so surprized on how they let these products out of the factory. I bought some uras G+ bumper and sides, which were better in every aspect in design, with the polyurathne, but they also cost a bit. not sure on prices of the orgin, id hope they do not charge over 500$ for a whole "kit"
  8. oh im not trying to say anything about your wheels, I like them, and for orgin I was not impresse with there stuff, I painted hiro's front end with origin stuff and fenders, and the quality was not even close to oem, maybe he will chime in on the pic's we took of how the product came from the factory. Anywheel coming from japan is already played out in most cases, military guys buying stuff from upgarage, and other places sending them back to the states making a killing on used wheels.
  9. I have a bit left, have no use for this , im going to be changing the color again, the color seems to be on every 240 since ive painted the car. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/paint2.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/paint1.jpg color on the car. http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/paint8.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/paint7.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/paint6.jpg http://i55.photobucket.com/albums/g127/boosted98gst1998/240sxjdmskirts.jpg make offer
  10. wow the car looks amazing, I do not like the look for the red pinstripe tho. s15driftking, all the wheels you posted are really nice, but that second 240 is fucking hiddious, car is nice just the huge ass bodykit makes the car horrible. I just do not get why people put huge ass cheap frp stuff on such nice cars.
  11. not sure on the size "oem" but my girlfriend is looking for a set of brand new tires for her truck, she does not care really on the brand , just somthing that is decent, she can get tires mounted and balanced for 80$ not sure on the brand, but if anyone can help me, let me know.
  12. looks nice, what type of fans did you use? pusher or pull? what type of mounts? did you do the timing belt? water and oil pump? what type of fpr? just asking I have a friend that might be interested.
  13. I just got back from discount tires on sawmill with the mb in stock and looked at them in person, they are not the same wheels , they are closed @ 3 due to good friday, look at the wheels in person, the casting is different and the concave face is way diff the mb is not as concave and has a huge block on the backspacing on the wheel. cst do not. I can care less about pricing I seen this post and was kinda pissed that I could of picked them up for this cheap, but when I went to sawmill to look at the wheels, they are similar but not the same, they did not have the 17.9 in stock just the 18's but same offset ect, they have a smaller dish with a big backspacing block on the rim. Alot of the guys are buying the cst caps and selling them on zilvia this way, even the color of the rims where a bit different. but I do agree the price of the rims is crazy for the offset and price, way better then shitty ass sportmax or played out 5ziggen rims.
  14. call mike from memoryfab he is the main importer for cst wheels in the states. I know now for sure they are not the same wheels.
  15. I have the cst zero 1's, the mb's have no concave face whatsoever, take a look yourself .
