  1. Out of curiosity did you check Western Digital's website for any device drivers? Try another computer perhaps to see if it will recognize it? Edit: Can you get the model number off of the external drive?
  2. Isn't it a beautiful thing what taxes go to.
  3. I'm not sure if this was sarcasm or you were being serious, but no rice on this car. Minus the Fignewton banner.
  4. 2nd gear ends round 70ish, Evan mistyped that, if it's nice out i'll get better video's tonight.
  5. On PittSpeed with the same name. I'm more of a Homestead person myself.
  6. I live in the South Hills. We have alot of diversity here, something always to do.
  7. I know this is a Columbus based forum, just enjoy interwed forums. Will have pictures tonight.
  8. The turbo isn't too bad hitting full spool around 3,500rpm. As money comes in, I've thought about spraying the intercooler, or doing a small 40 shot to spool faster. My thoughts exactly! Thanks, I enjoy working on it. Well, the pull was done in 4th gear. If I get on it, it's a different story. I'll try to get some better video's. Z28 in '68, SS in '69.
  9. Previous owner had a shop put the turbo on. The car was sitting for two and a half years before I bought it, at that time, I put on. Perfect Power SMT6 Dual Rail Kit MSD DIS II Innovative LC1 Atelier HP Turbo Box 12" OEM BBK Koyo Radiator Shark Racing 268 Intake/Exhaust Cams. Reworked some other small things. So at this point, I can call it my own. You would think nice cars would be rubbing off on me, but to each their own. I know some things on the car are gaudy. I work within my means on changing things. The exhaust is by no means nice to look at. But its there until I can replace it woth something better. Thanks for the comments too.
  10. Hello, My name is Sean, 22 and live in Pittsburgh, PA. I work for my family doing major in home appliance repair. Have a Associates Degree in Information Technology and a Bachelors Degree in Network Administration. Funny how I ended up fixing appliances. I enjoy what I do and that's important to me. I appreciate every mostly everything with a motor in it. From my perosnal car which Evan posted up, to anything that runs down the quarter mile. I have some other interest's including fishing, aquariums, dirtbikes/quads, computers. My family house on the Youghiogheny Lake where boats and jetski's are the normal. The house was bought about 12 years ago and my father and I have done alot of work to bring it where it is today, including a full addition, roof, basically gutting the place. My father has a 1986 Porsche 911 Carerra and his original 1968 Z28, they don't see the road that much, which is a shame, but we work on them from time to time. I guess I will be sticking around, seems like a rather interesting place to be. Thanks, Sean
  11. You don't have to be, its not your car. I appreciate negative criticism, it just makes me work harder to make it look better.
  12. I'm not to worried about what people say. My dad collects cars and I work with hime on them from time to time. He has a 1986 Porsche 911 Carerra, and his original 1968 Z28. I plan on sticking around and posting from time to time.
  13. I thought I would chime in here since I am the owner of the car. The pictures Evan originally posted were from when the car came back to Pittsburgh from Niles, Ohio. Since then, I have odne alot to get it running. Here are the most updated pictures of what it looks like. It may not be a quick car, but it's something I call my own and am proud to drive. http://66.93.172.84/sean/RD%20Project/DSCN1650.JPG http://66.93.172.84/sean/Allentown%202007/DSCN1656.JPG
