  1. Exactly ^ I dont know where everyone is coming up with the gte vs ge blocks being so different. On the bottom end the only difference is the oil squiters. Top end, yes completely different heads but there isn't any proven numbers that one head is better than another. The intake manifold is drastically different and can be swapped for a front facing one instead of over the top of the head. The only other limiting factors are 1. ignition (coil on plug vs cap +rotor on the ge) and 2. stock transmissions on the sc are either the w58 (good for 400wheel torque) or the auto which would need to be built. As far as power handling capabilities they are equal if they have the same head gasket. AEM EMS + >T60 turbo and 16psi = 500whp+ and you can use all the same parts between the two except when swapping intake and exhaust manifolds. I loved mine and will get another sometime but the "scene" has changed from a more mature group to a bunch of wangstas and punks. Sorry biggu and others who still own them. It has always been my favorite car ive owned.

    byhi you have pm.
  3. Im with you on this. My neighborhood has brand fucking new sidewalks and has a public park in it, so there is tons of traffic all day long. Everyone walks there dogs in the street or three fat women walk side by side in the wrong direction so you cant pass. Its not like the 10 minute walk these bitches do once a week at most is gonna help their fat asses. The second thing is during rush hour the parents let their kids play on the grass between the sidewalk and the street. I live in a "better off" area so everyone has a substantial front and back lawn, but no, the kids can only play in the 3 foot strip during the most trafficed time of day /rant
  4. Just something to think about but i have a 5 speed lexus sc300 with some goodies on it thats fun to drive. Easy to work on, comfortable, $50/mo for full coverage and beyond reliable. I havent had to fix anything yet, only done the recommended maintaining at intervals. Most people end up boosting the cars post 100k and they still last without problems. Im putting mine up for sale soon but if you want to take a ride sometime and see what its like, lemme know.
  5. Im not making excuses but when I coached highschool sports there is an agreement that running up the score is seriously frowned upon. Depending on the sport the point differentiation is different but the ref should have called the game at 50 points. I think its bs that they fired him and even more bs that the refs didnt call the game when there was no possible chance for the team to be competitive. Either way that dude should still have a job. Not his problem his team had to play a bunch of tards that couldnt dribble the ball. What are they expected to do? Score on themselves?... yeah right...
  6. i read this shit on a kansas biker forum and apparently the rider asked two witnesses for help as he lay there dying with broken arms and legs with internal bleeding and they pick pocketed him as he asked them to call 911... fucking sick bastards
  7. Thanks Iceman, i appreciate it. Scott man i havent seen you in forever... whats new dude? Hit me up sometime, for real. I think its been 2 years now?
  8. Thanks for the compliments guys, two more pics i found ones is artsy the other is just the suspension... http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/CRW_0957.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/CRW_1886.jpg
  9. Thanks guys. I think i know who you are talking about but maybe not. Hopefully he'll chime in with his sc. Does anyone know if there are there a lot of supra or lexus guys on here? Im an avid car guy and have been working on my gf's step dads nitro 56 ford truck this past spring but also have been looking for some locals that are building the similar platforms and may be able to lend a hand or some knowledge.
  10. Whats going on CR? My name is Marshall and Im a Worthington/Dublin boy. Im just getting back into the scene after a 2 year hiatus of working, coaching and changing project platforms. I used to be a lurker on here back in the day and it looks as though things have changed a bit. Back then i was rolling around in a turbo Del Sol Vtec with a fully built and ported head, t3/t4, every suspension component available at the time that i tuned by chipping my ecu. I ran 10psi and it was a fun car (drove like a quick gokart) but just wasnt cutting it. Sold it and picked up a 5 speed lexus sc300 and have been working on it since. The mod list isnt too long but consists of Supra wheels, Supra eibach spring w/ bilstein adjustables, new bushings all around, supra tt brakes, other odds and ends, and am in the process of updating the interior with a color change and some carbon fiber. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/carbon/feb22008.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/carbon/CRW_2386.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/carbon/CRW_3355.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/carbon/035.jpg a couple oldies: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/carbon/CRW_1918copy.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/carbon/CRW_1928.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v242/delslow94/carbon/CRW_1932copy.jpg I plan on swapping the motor soon and am in the process of rebuilding/modding a mk3 supra trans to fit into the car. She still needs a lot of work but its getting there. Im glad to be back on the boards
  11. did you check the little pin that sits in the speed sensor? Mine broke on my old honda with 40k on it. Then since its so small i dropped it and lost the new one while trying to put it in. i found it days later but its still a pain.
