  1. In the brewery District at work... Verizon Samsung S5 w/ 3 bars Ping: 51 Download: 22.5 Upload: 9.48
  2. That cooktop is sweet and a fantastic deal. I've seen scratch and dents sell for more.
  3. Lowes carries both so you may be able to swap it out there.
  4. I would never torrent, torrenting is bad, I'm a good citizen and follow the rules. With that said I use an older version of uTorrent.
  5. No one said it was a joint account. It could honestly be one of a dozen accounts, pension, 401k,separate account, credit card, the list goes on and on. Yes he needs to say something but he knows that and since he texted the guy to give him the heads up a few pages ago I'd say he did his part.
  6. Not that the OP cares but for reference to the Nest being inaccurate... obviously not a perfect test in any way but I put a digital thermometer next to our Nest and it was spot on every time I checked it last night and this morning. So I don't know I'm sure some are inaccurate in one way or anything but no issues here.
  7. Holy bajebus.... I didn't know that crap actually worked. Honestly, everyone needs to know. Either you forget you ever heard a single part of that or you scream up and down for at least the sister to do something about it. That husband is going to lose his mind...
  8. Is running a scam or is being scammed?
  9. Interesting, I have a digital thermometer at home I'll have to place it next to each other tonight and see how they correlate. I've heard many different things can affect on stat or another, (example: back plate or no back plate, wall temp, wifi on vs off). None of the companies seem to want to guarantee any accuracy so it is one of those tricky situations much like telling time, how do you know any specific one is correct? You are probably best just getting a straight forward Honeywell. Any wifi enabled thermostat is going to provide you with what you desire, the basic functions of a standard thermostat with 'anywhere' connectivity.
  10. I have a Nest and Love it. Most on CR prefer the Honeywell though other then price I'm not sure why. I use the Nest website and mobile app and love the use and look. It's considered to be easier to install and I think is still the only one that learns habits and allows for manual programming but that may not be as true now as it was a year ago when we got it.
  11. I kind of love some of the points in there if they stay true. Only a manual, only in black. I like the name 'Final Concept' as well. It seems they went all out with the goodies as well.
  12. Whoa there guy. Try not to get too bent out of shape when people pose questions...
  13. I only wish the news wouldn't have let the parents interview and the name of 'anonymous' family member stay unreleased.
  14. I'm not totally sure I understand the benifit. And the cost (risk) seems far too high. I guess I could understand somewhere like cali or Texas or Florida where bikes are more common and the weather is suited for a long 2 wheel season and the traffic is far worse but in Ohio...
  15. We almost installed one in our current house but decided to hold off til our next and larger home. As many have mentioned the install is what many people forget about and the need for ss most of the time. I would encourage looking for one that can be horizontally vented. The one we had could and it meant we could install it right to the basement wall and vent it right outside and be done rather then redoing the venting up to the roof. it was also NG and would have been on Columbus city water for what that's worth.
  16. Hey guys come on now, "reports from Twitter say he was unarmed." that's creditable right? It's great to see nowadays that news has just flat out given up.
  17. I'm sure their will be a ton of options given so here is another one. http://www.buckeyelaptop.com/#!/page_HOME it's downtown on High st. owners name is Colin. You can tell him Turbitt sent you if you'd like. Good guy, fast service, cheap rates.
  18. Sorry to see you feel that way grandpa. Also I hear the railroad's coming through here any day now. That's gonna be big! Streets paved with actual street!
  19. Also for what it's worth it was a pc game and went mobile and what not after partially selling. Some of the biggest keys is that he kept ownership of the game looong after many others would sell. He turned down many many millions in offers to get to this point. I've played many hours of mine craft years ago, it's a great, clean, simple concept that allows for alot of creativity. Heck, many creative based companies were encouraging their employees to play. Also $20 beats the hell out of $60 plus 12 $15 dlc packs like many other games have gone to.
  20. I may be wrong but I believe anything over 26000 lbs requires a cdl unless for recreational use, I don't think personal use defines recreational use.
  21. 18k... f that you can get those things in the Midwest for like 4-6... wonder what it would take to drive it on the street other then a cdl.

    The Interview

To be fair, 99% of major corporations networks have been compromised in one way or another over the years. Obviously not to this degree normally but still.

    The Interview

Few other things worth noting: The theaters pulled out due to threats of terrorist like attacks against their theaters if they show the film and they didn't want to take that liability. Some theaters said they would show it as long as Sony was willing to foot the security detail bill. My personal opinion is that their exec's worried they would be hacked and who knows what bs would spill from their hidden info. Also, for what it's worth it's already been shown many places and even a ton of showings in Columbus, just not officially full nationwide release. Lastly, the US Gov confirmed that the hack came from outside North Korea but was backed by North Korea suggesting a hacker for hire possible situation.
  24. The 1" is not something that is jerry-rigged if that's one of your questions. Often Newer/nicer furnaces will have slots, one for the 1" one for the 4 or 5". Obviously as others have mentioned the 5" is superior, it provides more surface area and is less restrictive to the air flow to the blower. I also have bad allergies and what not and buy a decent 5". You will want to buy online and buying a box or 2 is normally easiest (2-3 filters in a box commonly) Most stores like Lowe's etc don't carry enough 4/5" options in stock so it's likely you won't find your size. Also, the correct size it being a tight seal is key to this all so no air can pass around the filter with the door closed.
