  1. "Jessop thought he'd fired seven or eight rounds. It turned out he'd fired 14.

    Six bullets hit Davis' vehicle."

He was right in shooting, but I'd send him back to the range before I put him back on job.

Awhile back in Tampa, Florida, there was an incident that the polices shot 120 rounds into a car. 20 shots hit the car and the car was 30 feet away. Adrenaline will throw you out of wack. In order for the law enforcement to handle firearms affectively, they need to practice on real people. I vote to bring back firing squad as a form of execution. That way, our law enforcement personels can have some real practice.

  2. The LFA sounds sick as hell. It is waaaaay over price, but I don't think Toyota/Lexus will have a problem selling them. People in the US may not buy them, but people from Asia will. As far as compare Toyota/Lexus to Ferrari, that's just plain stupid!! The damn LFA will out last any Ferrari and will go 200K miles before needing a tune up. OK, flamesuit on!! ;)
  3. This is for the tuners out there.

I have a car that is factory equipped with a supercharger. Stock it run 11psi of boost. With pulley kit, some people run up to 17psi of boost. Being a turbo addict, I'm thinking about converting my car to turbocharge. There are no known stand alone ECU options for my car, the only tuning option is flash. Everyone said that nobody will be able to tune my car because of the turbocharge. My thought is if the car can run 17psi of boost on a supercharger it will be able to run 14psi of boost on a turbo. Is my logic right? Thank you for your time.

  4. The PTR1 has much more felt recoil than the M1A. Neither is that bad, though. Maybe you weren't holding it correctly? It's not uncomfortable if you are holding it correctly.

If you were holding it correctly, and you thought it had too much recoil, buy an AR15 instead. The 7.62x51 is a powerful cartridge!

Will the recoil be less if the PTR91 I'm buying is shooting 7.62x39 round? That the one I'm looking at. I already have an AK47 (just bought one), and I want to be able to use the same armo on both gun.

  5. Thanks for the replies. I like the M1a too, but after three shots with it I changed my mind. The recoil on the M1A is brutal. I hope the PTR91 is not like that.
  6. Anyone here have any experience with the PTR91? I'm looking to get one soon. They have good review and sound good on paper, but I would like to hear from people that have first hand experience. thank in advance.
  7. Well, I have a 95 Civic Si hatch with a fully built K20a2 turbocharge that I would rather sell than part out.

The shell is originally red 95 Civic Si with less than 75K miles when the swap was perform. No rust at all!! It's painted gold now. The interior is stripped and painted black. Integra dash and front seats, with EG black carpet. Carbon fiber hood, carbon fiber hatch, and carbon fiber rear spoiler.

The engine is fully built by Slowmotion Motorsport here in Columbus, Ohio. Head have a mild port job and have SuperTech valve train components. ARP head studs. Eagle rods with custom Aria 9:0 CR pistons. Stock sleeves were bore out .5mm over. S2000 oil pump was machined to fit and work with the K20 block.

Tranny is stock except for the Exedy HD twin disk clutch.

Turbo kit was custom built by Slowmo. Sidewinder style turbo manifold, Fullrace HO 67/T3 turbo, Tial 44mm wastegate, Tial 50mm BOV, Fullrace vertical core intercooler, all aluminum intercooler pipping.

Wheels are brand new 16" (forgot the brand) with Falken Azenis tires. Sway bars are really thick 22mm in the rear and 25mm in the front (forgot the brand). Omniman Coilover shocks.

Hondata ECU was tuned by Corey @ Slowmo. The car was street tuned and dyno tuned. Made 450whp @ 12 psi on pump gas. Ran 11.5's @ 125 mph in the 1/4 mile.

Everything here is off my head, but i'm 95% sure of what got in the car. The car was finish and used as my toy car. Shortly after that I got married and have a little boy now. So the the car was done, gone to couple local shows, ran down the track three times at a track event. All and all, it may have a thousand in the engine and turbo kit. The car have been sitting in my garage for the last three years or so. I have a lot of money tied into this car and I'm not looking to get it back. I just don't have the time for it anymore. I have hold on to it long enough. I'll try to post some pictures of the car up. I'm asking $12K obo. I'm in Columbus, OH. If anyone interest, I can set up to get dyno verify and compression check. Thanks for looking.

  8. The SRT4 is one of the harder cars to go down the track with street tires. It's FWD and have so much low end torque, it would just roast the tires if you're not careful with the throttle. So tell your friends to invest in some stickier tires and "feather" the gas off the line.

AWD car is the the best at making average driver look good. Rev as high as you dare, side step the clutch, and you're gone as a pro driver ; ).

  9. This is for the peep on the west side of town. There always a police sitting somewhere from I-270 and I-70 junction to I-70 and I-670. Watchout on that stretch. The police will reverse the route in the afternoon.
  10. Thanks guys. I went out to check and sure enough, the compressor is not kick in. So that might be the culprit. Like someone said earlier, the compressor on the Odyssey is junk. If it's up to me, I could careless about the AC. But the one year old man and the wife will not tolerate that crap.
