  1. Advance autos scanner can't read BCM Codes. And a matter of fact my rear pads are low. Really low. Fluid is good tho

  4. 2006 pontiac Grand Prix Gxp. I recently had my transmission rebuilt. Only light I had was a CEL. I get the car back now it says "SERVICE VEHICLE SOON" at startup. Since then I've replaced and checked ALL my bulbs and both battery terminals. My oil life monitor states 89%. Only other note is I have no abs or TCS lights but they did install a transmission cooler.
  5. 06 Grand Prix Gxp throws a service vehicle soon light at startup and occasionally during braking and change of direction. My bulbs are all new and are functioning properly. Any other suggestions? I just got my car out the tranny shop. Aatco in grove city... I didn't have the service light before. Any clues other than a bulb being blown?
  6. I recently bought an ASC Aftermarket Warranty with $1,000 in coverage. My Transmission is slipping and its going to go out SOON. Does anyone know a reasonably priced shop that does warranty work? The lowest ive been quoted so far is $1,400 for the job but hes in Circleville. I just wanted to shop around before I took it to him. 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GXP LS4 with the glass v6 4T65E "HD" 159,000 miles.
  7. checked PLUGS and the wiring everything looks good.. even the wiring harness grounds. pulled the codes and its right front speed sensor malfunction. I JUST replaced that hub over the summer. I cant reset the code. it wont let me. it lights come on as soon as I turn the key on.

  11. New motor in my 06 Grand Prix Gxp but first startup my abs traction and stability lights come on. They weren't on before the swap. I'm assuming everything is plugged in but what else could it be?
  12. ENIGINE HAS A 6TH CYLINDER ISSUE (MISFIRE) VERY LITTLE COMPRESSION. I THINK THE MECHANIC SAID 25 PSI OR LESS. CRACKED PISTON, RING OR MAYBE SOMETHING IN THE HEAD (VALVES, VALVE SEALS) THE ENGINE IS STILL IN MY CAR AND RUNS. SMOKES AND MISFIRES. THE LS4 HAS 243 CASTING HEADS, 28.33 LB AN HOUR INJECTORS, FUEL RAIL, INTAKE MANIFOLD, AND THROTTLE BODY. I MIGHT THROW IN THE COIL PACKS ALSO. THE 243 HEADS ARE WORTH 300 ALONE SO THE REST OF THE MOTOR IS KIND OF A GIMME. ENGINE IS DUE FOR A REBUILD OBVIOUSLY. THE MOTOR WILL BE OUT SOON TO REPLACE IT WITH THE NEW ONE I PURCHASED. 614-397-7396 CALL OR TEXT. IM PRETTY CLOSE OF THE PRICE. Well getting the AFM tuned out fixes the oil consumption, but im figuring I might be too late.. since I have no moneys for expensive tune. but its not burning oil in the 100+ miles ive driven it since ive noticed it. still around the same level. I the way its smoking and the flashing light im thinking its fuel burning.

  15. Flashing CEL, Smoke at all rpms EXCEPT in AFM. I know cylinders 1 4 6 7 or AFM cylinders. I am thinking the is still active on cylinder 6 full time. Stuck or something. I also had the code for the oil pressure switch yesterday, replaced it.. Cleared the code and hasn't came back. The p0306 code for the misfire is still there though. I changed that plug (oil fouled) and still no difference. The engine makes a noise at idle and idle only almost sounds top end and like a metal plate is loose. I knew I should have got AFM tuned out sooner.

  17. Finally had time to Sir. Im not sure of what year. but I doubt it was a '14. already had wheels and maybe an exhaust bolt on, tinted windows and de-badged except for the chevy emblem in the grille. Coulda been but I doubt it
  18. I saw a Chevy Badged looking G8. Murdered out black on black with an ls2/6.0L badge on the back of it. Well after researching it Turns out it was a new Chevrolet Caprice. The only problem is... they're PPV Police issue only! It had civilian WV tags. HOW IS IT POSSIBLE TO OWN SUCH A Vehicle? I saw it off of Brice Rd/Scarborough Area 2 weeks ago. I'm 99.9% Positive It's a Caprice

  20. I think it'll be fine. I really don't see engine failure or anything like that anytime soon but I would like to look into non AFM HEADS/CAM setup and just do away with it.
