I think this is the first video you meant to post

That's awesome because they cut the end of the article out. The AP version had anti-gun bullshit at the end, I'll see if I can find it.
Edit:
http://www.philly.com/inquirer/world_us/79116467.html
"Supporters of expanding handgun rights argue that people with state-issued permits are far less likely to commit crimes.
Kristin Rand of the Violence Policy Center, a gun-control group in Washington, disagrees. "They shoot each other over parking spaces, at football games, and at family events," Rand said. "The idea that you're making any place safer by injecting more guns is just completely contradicted by the facts." "
That looks like a nice "rifle" that the guy is looking at. I love asking antis whether or not people should be allowed to own assault weapons. I then follow it up with:"What is an assault weapon and what makes it so dangerous?" They are usually dumbfounded and say something along the lines that they kill people.

I will be buying a G27 when I turn 21. How much was it with the night sights?

I bought a M&P 15 in the first week of April(don't remember exact date), shot it once, functioned fine, great gun. Last night I took the forearm off to discover:

The metal lining is bent and the forearm was cracked. I know 100% that I did not do this and that it came like this. I do have to credit S&W though on their customer service, I was on the phone for about two minutes today and they are shipping me out a new forearm asap.

PMed Greg, I might just go at noon and start the process. They have to run a background check and I have a waiting period correct?
I have never had a waiting period.

I just got one of these a few weeks ago, great rifle. Good luck with the sale.

BTW how about Cleveland damn near beating a playoff team tonight while playing their reserves lol
That was great, should give their bench some confidence going into the playoffs. Booby needs some new shoes....

The kids and firearms question can ALWAYS go back to parenting. From early on I knew not to touch my dad's firearms, for fear of getting my ass whooped in the least bit. But from early on I was told never to touch them, but ALSO I was properly taught firearms safety. Finger never on trigger, and making sure the weapon was unloaded. I really hope the NRA fires back at this one full force.
People just like to blame inanimate objects for their lack of parenting. I was taught at a young age how to handle firearms and it is second nature to me now. I am amazed when my friends are around my guns how ill informed that they are about how to handle weapons, don't know how to check if it is unloaded, point it at people, etc...

I went through one of those once, slurred my speach and everything, to see what would happen. They pulled me out of the car and gave me the test and couldn't understand why I was stone sober. In my still slurring voice, I told him "Thaaat'ssss the waaaaay I taaaaalk asssssshoooole..."
Hahahahaha. I have always wanted to do this

it's not the governments job to bail out badly run companies no matter how big they are, they should have been allowed to go through bankrupcy like they had before. But the government scared every to believing the sky was falling and something had to be done quick to fix things, there is NO quick fix.
Capitalism fixes it's self it may be painfull but it works. when gov. puts it's nose into the situation it always blows up in thier face, people blam fanny and freddy for the housing collapse . . . why does no one blame the Gov. for coaxing them to do it, promising to back them if they screwed up.
The "everyone deserves a home" doctrine caused this.
Exactly, forever the banks would lend money to who they saw fit to pay it back, then the government(Carter and Clinton) got involved and said that everyone should have a home. They coerced these lending institutions into lending money to people who had no real chance of ever paying it back.
Peter Schiff predicted that we were going to be in a recession and people just laughed at him and called him a liar:

Also, one more thing to consider: The financial and automotive industries are two of the most heavily regulated sectors in the U.S. Those are the two sectors that are failing....THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD STAY OUT OF THE PRIVATE SECTORS BUSINESS!

Dang, wish I would have checked cr a little earlier. I just ordered some 500 rds of .223. I ordered Remington umc for cabelas. It is a comparable price to the federal depending on how much shipping is. In stock too!

is it me or rates came down? they having a problem getting more members? i think it use to be in $1200 range for life membership
Yea I remember about a year before the election it was $1000. But they spent a lot of money on ad campaigns for the election and are probably anticipating having to spend more and more to block anti gun legislation.

lock it up, thanks

I bought this last year with the intention of using it for deer season. Then I came across a deal on a mossberg 535 that came with a rifled barrel so this just sat around during deer season. I did put a few hornady sst slugs through the barrel and it is very accurate. I was within the 7 ring of a 50 yd smallbore target everytime at 50 yds shooting standing and kneeling. It is made by mossberg for the 870 12 ga, has rifle sights will do 2 3/4" and 3" shells. The barrel is 24" and blued, has adjustable sights(although I never tried to adjust them). It has a pretty good amount of scratches on the outside but still functions perfect. I paid around 100 off gunbroker, looking for 75 obo.

I've looked everywhere, everyone said that they are out of stock and sell out really fast whenever they get some in. At least Obama is stimulating guns and ammo sales:bangbang:

My M&P was like that as well from the factory. It was some quality control bullshit thats for sure.
Take it to any gun shop theyll be able to fix it rite up for you. Just dont take it there yourself because youre not 21 heh.
I thought I could posses a handgun at 18? Just couldn't buy it. My parents got it for me for my 20th birthday and it stays in there safe until I am 21 and can take it to my apartment. They don't care if I take it shooting or to get it fixed though.
I'm sure that Blackwing will be able to do a good job, or any of the other shops around town. Unfortunately, I can't recommend Vance's for the job. I had my XD night-sights installed there, they did get them right on the return trip, but their first try took 2 weeks! This was WAY back before the panic, too.Yea vances is where I got it from, but I do not trust them with fixing guns and setting them up. Yes they have the best prices, but when they bore sighted my deer shotgun it was somehow 3 feet low at 50 yards:eek:. I will probably end up at blackwing and check out some Ar's while i'm there.
my g/fs grandpa is one of the gunsmiths for vances (when their inhouse guys cant handle something)...i took him my M&P 9c and trijicons and he had them in in like 10 minutes.theres an allen screw on the top you need to take out. DONT take the sight completely off, because IIRC, there is a cap that is spring loaded under it, and if you take it off and it shoots off, you're probably going to lose it, and have more issues. its dovetailed in, so you may need to use a soft metal punch and a small hammer to move it left or right.
I tried taking the allen screw off and moving it but it would not budge.

My uncle, cousin and I have all shot it and all agree it is off to the left. The rear sight is actually way off to the left and it clearly needs to move to the right to be in the center. I can snap a picture when I get home so you can see what I mean. But you are right I am about to call S&W and have them send me a prepaid box so that they can mess with it because they actually know what they are doing and can do it without messing it up.
need a place to shoot longer distance

Zanesville is a nice range, they recently made a website so you can try and get ahold of them through the contacts page:
http://www.zanesvillerifleclub.com/contacts.shtml
They are more geared to cmp and nra service rifle matches and the range is closed a lot on the weekends. When I have gone during the week there is rarely another person there. It is also only 35 bucks I think for a year membership.
